I think Macross the First is in the middle of doing just that.....they already had a time displacement scene that shows the Megaroad's fleet....perhaps more is to come regarding that before the comic concludes.... So rewrites may be unavoidable at this point.....

Based on your last podcast, or was it the one before it?....I think one of you mentioned that Japanese fans care more about the characters than the mecha? But yeah, as much as I'd still enjoy seeing a reboot of the original show if that is the route they take, I would prefer something entirely new...

Thanks Marzan....however, my collection is currently devoid of even one cel from the series represented by your avatar..... I'd like to get a few nice MII cels...would like a VF-22S cel or a nice one of Ishtar.....

Just think of the consequences of a Bandai backed SDFM reboot.......assuming the VF-1 changes little (paint schemes like MtF?), along with the mecha.....an entire line of DX VF-1's from Bandai.... gulp!....... Wonder what that would do to Arcadia? Or perhaps Arcadia may be the new show sponser?

Didn't this have several pre-order windows open up for it after the initial one closed? I think many people may have bought extras as an "investment".....maybe thinking VF-4. If you did not place a pre-order, just wait and see what happens after release. I'm thinking there will be so many available on the aftermarket that the price should remain close to MSRP. In anycase, Arcadia started up their business by offering "reissues".....and there is no reason to believe the YF-19 will not receive a reissue of its own at some point in the future. In fact, that hope and expectation of Arcadia VF reissues is what has cooled down the aftermarket prices of most VFs...with just a handful of exceptions.

It's all about Little Kickass.....she needs a "mom"......and that new "mom" may be Michonne.....if that happens...you no longer need Carol or Beth.....Carol is expendable now due to her actions.....Beth is expendable...she is now just a plot device that will be used to further drive Daryl's character....either back into his former self...or back into being a "leader" (well, at least Rick's right-hand man)....there is no doubt the new group he is with has something to do with Beth's kidnapping.... As for the other supporting characters....Tyreese is a dead man (too bad because I like his character)...good people (supporting actors) have no place in this Walker world....and with him dead....his sister will follow......Bob?...don't know...but he seems to be becoming the love interest for Sasha....however, if she dies (and she probably will)...we may see him sacrificing himself for the crew...or ending up alone again like portrayed in one of the recent episodes.....drinking himself to death... Untouchable: Rick, Carl, Daryl, Maggie, Glenn, Michonne, and Little Kickass....... If the show goes past 5 years...I see Glenn and Maggie killed off....they are the only original characters left that would provide enough shock/drama value in their deaths....but at the same time not completely PO the fan-base like killing off Rick, Daryl, or Michonne......don't think they will kill off a baby/toddler...the Grimes family, plus Aunt Michonne and Uncle Daryl will live on....after the series finale credits roll....... They need to get cracking on that spinoff series soon....expand the world of the Walking Dead beyond Georgia.......take it international already!

Yep...off the obsolete Macross Chronicle Issue 29..... Still have plenty of issues left.....should get some new stuff soon....VF-4 battroid.....maybe a VF-2J???

I'd need to check the book out again...I do recall lots of weaponry swapping among the destroids...but don't remember if they used destroid weapons on the valks..... But, yeah...not entirely a new concept I guess....Macross the First just took it further into the WTF area!
