Since I am not into "swooshing" my VF's around the house ....the toy does really well in doing what I need it to do....which is to simply display well.....the only difference with my other VF's is that I had to settle on one pose for fear of it breaking or coming apart from over-handling/multiple transformations....I went with gerwalk for my Faerie Squadron VF-2SS... I have yet to open up the Nexx I was finally able to pick up on the cheap....think I'll go battroid for that one.....

It would have been odd for Yamato to actually create a new mold for a non-transforming VF-1.....thus the bit for the VF-X was the easy thing to do...

That would be great, but that also means they would have to double dip on the licensing fee...one to BW and one to Hasegawa. Also, as awesome as the VF-0B and C are...they do not make any appearances in the actual show. So not sure how that fits into their licensing from BW and their ability to actually produce them. I am reminded how we still do not have a FB2012 VF-4 because apparently there never is one depicted in the OVA that can "transform".

It would seem Macross Zero may have actually been their only choice. It would seem you would want to base your products on a series with a large assortment of potential releases. With the exception of Macross Flashback 2012, Macross Zero has the least amount of mecha that could be exploited of any Macross series. Arcadia is almost at the point where they will be faced with having to decide on making the Cheyenne and Octos.....and the current thought on Destroids is that they are poor sellers. Insta-buys for me, but not sure if other collectors would feel the need to add them to their collections. With the Macross Zero line, Arcadia is essentially forced to tap into a well that is quickly running dry.

One more thing.....VF-0B...VF-0C......totally would buy those.....so if they get released next, then I will be OK if Arcadia hangs onto M0 for a couple more years....there should be nothing to producing either of those......would be nice if they would go in on a partnership with Hasegawa so they can release the 2 versions of those 2 that have become sort of iconic for those VF-0's...

This.... I can only hope this is it....M0 line will be over and Arcadia can move onto something completely fresh and new....like a VF-5000 or the dang TV SDF-1..... I'm guessing M0 was the cheapest license Arcadia could acquire for "new" product......Oddly enough, I'd pick up any HM-R M0 releases if they ever got made....

Was waiting to see if I could bundle the shipping....but I have nothing for March at HLJ......think I'll stick with Amazon.jp....
-
Completely underwhelmed by this "new" mold.....easy pass....but I'll bite if they release this one...I seriously doubt it though.... If the Yamato's SV-51 market value tanks, it may be worthwhile to pick up another one for a custom repaint...

PO still open. I think they miscalculated the demand. Didn't Arcadia sell like 5 of those ridiculously priced gunpods? I just hope KL's MSRP was based on the sale of maybe 10-20....otherwise I can see this thing being cancelled. As of right now, I have no choice but to wait for it to show up on a Robotech.com clearance sale.... This would have been better as a kickstarter project instead.

Don't directly look at the pre-order button!!!
-
This will have to be encased in styrofoam to have a chance at surviving the trip from China.....even then there is no guarantee it'll arrive in one piece.....

Pre-order window still open! Go! Go! Go! http://www.kids-logic.com/shop-by-license/macross/robotech-macross-vf-1j-1-6-cockpit-diorama-digital-sound-system-123.html

It is basically an ultimate detail kit that is being assembled and painted just for you! As someone without the time or skill do do a good job, I can appreciate that type of service. Maybe those who would be able to detail their own cockpit can petition KL to release a kit version without the audio/video gimmicks....and with or without the LEDs at some point in the future...although doing that would probably kill the future collectibility/market value for this thing...but then again, that didn't seem to happen for the toy version of the SDF-1 when they released the kit version.....or affect the value much of the 1/2000 SDF-1....maybe due to being 2 separate groups of customers: Toy collectors vs Kit Collectors... KL's 1/6 VF-1 cockpit diorama is just another entry in a growing line of ultra high end Macross collectibles.... These previous releases sort of make the $1400 VF-1 cockpit seem reasonably priced!

35K would be great..... However, this was released 5 years ago and it doesn't transform... https://hlj.com/product/BAN975752 If Bandai is going to release the VF-1 in 1/35....they are probably going for full line-art accuracy as much as possible, including the transformation gimmick as well as other gimmicks several on here have often detailed on various "wish lists" throughout the years....in short, the ultimate VF-1 ever to be made....most likely limited release as well....It is likely the groundwork for a 1/60-ish DX version with less of the bells and whistles...just like Yamato's 1/48 was to their 1/60 V2.... I just hope they treat the fans with the release of the 1/35th Anniversary edition before unleashing their 1/60-ish DX version. Hopefully, they will announce it for Autumn release (SDFM 35th Anniversary is in October) or by year's end.....then Macross Delta 1/60 DX VF-1's in late 2018 (after the last VF-1 HMR has been released).....start saving now...just in case!

Dunno...isn't 17 Feb 2017, 19:00 PST later this afternoon? Perhaps it is a placeholder like other site do for their pre-orders. Not that it matters.....the shipping alone is hard to justify the purchase for me. I may have bit at $1K total shipped. As for the 1/35th (Anniversary) VF-1J...I'm thinking $550 USD shipped.....
