  1. Once they get to the VF-1J....there should be no reason not to expect a "Mass Production" repaint....VF-1A repaints could get crazy....hopefully they do a VF-1D
  2. Seems like an homage to the old Takatoku custom...order placed!
  3. great, easier to transport onto "cargo holds" and deliver to the highest bidder!!!
  4. Hopefully in ashes along with your remains...otherwise, watch out for grave-robbers!
  5. There is no insurance that would ever help you recover "one of a kind"... So enjoy what you have...while you have it.....and in case you had any doubts, you still can't take it with you!
  6. With all the extra time it is taking to release this book, you'd hope that would just mean more time to find stuff that has actually never been seen before, right? Right?!?!
  7. Probably worth the wait...

    Macross figures

  13. How much would you charge to build and paint one of these kits....with or without the "weathering" effect...I am thinking stock HMR's may look better in a non-weathered factory kit...maybe
  14. It happens to almost every Macross PT toy...eventually. The venerable VF-1 was overdue for a new version, the last one being the Yamato V2 1/60....so when the Bandai DX VF-1 was announced, it was only a matter of time before the old Yamato 1/48's market value started to decline once again...
  15. Ever since the XP-38 came out......errr, I mean the Bandai DX VF-1J, the 1/48 Yamatos just aren't in demand....only the "special" releases such as the woodland camo, Macross Chronicle releases, or stealth fetch higher prices... Boxed, used and complete Yamato 1/48 VF-1J's are averaging about 100 bucks on YJA these days.... Additionally, most buyers tend to avoid buying items that have been "tampered" with....nothing against your panel lining job, but most collectors want items to be as close to "stock" as possible...customized items, unless it is of superior quality, tend to knock down the price... As for the the super/strike parts....they go for around 60 bucks complete with box and decals, paperwork, etc on YJA.... Missing boxes and damaged or customized toys will reduce average market prices anywhere from 10-30% or more... I would say a listing of 200 or best offer would maybe help you sell it quicker...or maybe try the MW for sale thread and save on the eBay fees. Good Luck!

  17. Not a SDCC sellout, eh? Shocking!
  18. So did anyone who was contemplating the 2500 dollar Mikimoto shikishi go through with it?
  19. You may as well wait for the eventual release of the Bandai DX 1/48 VF-1S Fokker...if you do not mind waiting for the best and the biggest fully transformable version
  20. No worries.....The XB Falcon is so awesome....probably because it sort of combines my two favorite Fords of that early 70's era...the Mustang and the Torino!
