Never looked at the VA-3 that closely, but now I cannot un-see the Aliens UD-4L "Cheyenne" Dropship......

Seriously?...PS5 is way worse....way more demand for a PS5 than a DX VF-1S...just follow the aftermarket asking/sales prices for proof...lol

Maybe you can use the Tamashii Nations Macross page? You can play around with the filter to make your search more specific.... https://tamashii.jp/item_character/macross_series/1/?number=40&order=new&brand=dx_chogokin&ck1=1&ck2=1&ck3=1&ok=Filter+by+this+condition#gi_subcatearea

Kitz Concept Toy Thread 2.0
jvmacross replied to Stampeed Valkyrie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
yep...when it first was teased most on MW concluded it was an upscaled Hasegawa TV kit...I would prefer it get resized down to 1/3000 and the mold would need to be reflective of a proper TV SDF-1...not some hybrid TV/DYRL job........I think KC can pull it off, but it definitely needs more work...what I would look forward from KC would be the gimmicks...lights and SFX- 2626 replies

Kitz Concept Toy Thread 2.0

I hope they can knock out some of the other VF-1's before September 2021's GBP set....VF-1J's in Max & Milia colors would just be repaints of Hikaru's VF-1J...and they also teased the VF-1A Soldier I think.....I would rather have the VF-1J M&M or VF-1A CF before a VF-1S v2....but I would like to replace the crappy v1 Focker-1S.... The translucent red and blue stands are cool...but I'd prefer the clear.....maybe as bonus items? Just don't bring back the puke lime-green one! TV VF-1A head looks ready to go.... Still would like this SD fellow.... ...and my Roy and Max figures.... .....and I hope they are still working on this.....maybe someone with a Twitter or FB account can ask?- 2626 replies

Always look forward to your classic Macross art and TV/movie scene pics!

I know that most bring up Takani when discussing or posting pics of old school Macross kit boxart....but several of them are actually credited to Toshimitsu Susuki.... Like this one..... Some other recognizable Macross boxart...all credited to T. Suzuki....

Not surprising, the book is not an all-encompassing look at the creation of every single VF that Kawamori has done....just a sampling. Like I said before, it is more of a companion book to the last Designers Note that was released....a look into how Kawamori eventually gets to those final linearts... Hopefully, there are enough sales of the Kawamori book to warrant more "volumes"...

Are you referring to the rough sketches for it or just the lineart in general? The lineart is available within a couple of books and there are some rough sketches in the old Macross Design Works.

It will be added to Shoji Kawamori Designer's Note II....coming soon!

Nice collection...my Macross books are sadly all over the place... The new Kawamori book definitely blew past the last record holder for the most voluminous Macross publication...by close to 200 pages I think
