    Ah.....scratch that...I forgot that these were "blind boxes"....special case, but including the box is still better than not having them.....so in this case, you probably would want to open them and see if you have the "chase" figs, which would be the ones that are more valuable.....and then price them accordingly.... I believe with these CM's....the Chase figs are worth the most, followed by the solid colored hair figs...the alternate hair colored figs are worth the least (if I remember correctly, some sets the hair was clear/translucent and some sets were just alternate paint schemes or tried to duplicate some other effect, like watercolors, etc.

    Usually, every collectible is worth more when it is closed/unused.....the only time this does not matter is when the collectible has lost so much of it's desirability that it's value in boxed condition is no longer a factor....your items are not in that category based on what I have seen them go for on auction

    Yeah...If they would have just used the Yodobashi.com box and slapped their shipping labels on that, it probably would have been less. I wonder if they would be open to doing that if you contacted them....150 USD is too extreme for just one DX.

    No, he told me there was something else. It was seemingly insignificant, in terms of added weight/box size...but I have dealt with Buyee before and I don't trust them enough to have not charged him more because of the extra items. Thus, why I am looking for someone that just requested shipping on a single DX. If it is 150USD, then it is what it is and it would make buying one from Buyee a worse option than eBay at the moment.

    Has anyone won an auction for a single DX VF-1S on Buyee recently? If so, can you share what the cost was to ship just the single DX VF-1S to the US?

    I am guessing any arrangement with NY will, at best, get you STORE CREDIT....so you need to ask yourself if that is acceptable to you....if not and you never plan on buying from them again (which I would advise you not to)...initiate a paypal refund request right away before it is too late... Also, you may be able to just do it online without needing to call Paypal...look for the transaction and then select the appropriate action to take on it

    The pandemic has done nothing to diminish how much I usually spend in a year on my Macross addiction.....it has, however, limited my need to get everything shipped to me ASAP.....if shipping prices drop down closer to pre-pandemic rates at some point in 2021....I will have an epic amount of stuff finally delivered....the only items I have delivered now are from Amazon Japan due to their low DHL shipping rates to the US....so glad they had a good arrangement with them even before the pandemic

    Ditched my HLJ order as soon as AJ opened it up for international shipping....they have now done that with every Macross book released during the pandemic...starts as "not available for overseas shipping", then they make it available upon release or sooner

    This just reminded me of the HMR VF-1A CF release....it was released so you could go TV or DYRL with it.....It would seem that won't happen with the DX due to all the extra tampo that goes on it that has become a big part of ID'ing them as either TV or DYRL versions

    Speaking of the VF-1D.....there was a variant to it that never made it to the original lineup that ended up inluding the VF-1A, D, J, and S......the legendary VF-1C... However, ARII managed to "sneak" it into their model kit lineup via the VF-1D Gerwalk kit.....later released in their 15th Anniversary Macross "toys"....

    I don't think I have ever seen anyone do anything special with that kit.....I bought one with the intent of making a CF out of it too....it'll never happen
