  1. Wonder how much profits Paypal made off of processing NY sales.....they certainly helped keep NY afloat long after NY should have been put out of business
  2. Yes....but the problem is that they are all being introduced in stories happening before the whole saga went down the toilet....all of their arcs so far are simply leading to the events of TROS.....which is why I am thinking they are heading towards a possible reboot with the introduction of the World between Worlds concept from Rebels.....not sure how I feel about that....seems kind of a lazy way out
  3. AJ should still have some
  4. At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see the emperor return....or the latest corporal vessel containing his evil entity.... I think that is the biggest hurdle for Star Wars......to come up with the next baddie that was as good as Emperor Palpatine, without being just another Emperor Palpatine rehash/fallen Jedi acting up storyline... For now, Star Wars is riding high on nostalgia and keeping us all entertained in shows taking place in the era which many Star Wars fans actually care about...but I have said it before, all of it leads to TROS....then what happens? Star Wars Multiverse?
  5. Hobby Japan - Macross Modelers Another mook full of built-up Macross kits.... The big selling point is actually a cool spread of all of the latest and greatest VFs from the most recent Macross movie....
  6. Bandai Toy Book - 1995
  7. LOL...yeah...this whole "Market Watch" thing started with the Great Yamato Apocalypse of 2013.....the market got insane fast once the word got out that we may not get Macross VF's again for another few decades!
  8. One or two would be easy enough to find the 3-6 month average market value for you......but I'd have to take a percentage of your sales if I looked up all that info for you....as they say..."time is money" 🤑 With that said.....based on what you are looking to sell, invest some time in finding recent sales info (using the guide posted below) and you will surely get rewarded.... To get you started...... https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch/closedsearch?auccat=&tab_ex=commerce&ei=utf-8&aq=-1&oq=&sc_i=&exflg=&p=DX+VF-31A&x=0&y=0 If you want to be "lazy".....you can just use the average that YJA computes based on sales data for the last 180 days....the info is listed towards the top of the page...keep in mind though, that this will average "all" similar items...in this example the average sales price listed for the Kairos in new, used and every other condition in between....so if yours are MISBSIMSSB (which you are famous for )....you will not be getting the true market price for your item....the upside would be that it would be a great price and you would likely sell it quickly....the opposite would be the case for someone selling a "used" Kairos, which means they would be pricing it too high and may not get much interest...... Of course, in the end, getting a true market value is just the start, it ultimately is all about how much you are willing to sell your item for and how much your buyer is willing to spend for it.....but finding the current market value will at least establish your initial "asking" prices as fair
  9. Just going to add these here since they are part of the DYRL promotional campaign...... A couple of cels from the Macross DYRL Special Preview promotional trailer....... So basically, the main difference on these cels from the cels used in the actual film, is the lack of Focker's "yellow" chest stripe on his VF-1S.......maybe they did not have any yellow paint when the sequence was painted? The sequence that these cels are used in from the Macross DYRL Special Preview trailer can be seen here: Incidentally, the trailer goes through several "versions" prior to the release of the film and one of the final trailers actually has the "correctly painted" yellow chest striped VF-1S finally included...as well as the inclusion of the wrecked Regult as seen in the actual film sequence, which is also missing from the original "non-yellow striped" VF-1S sequence from the special preview trailer.....the corrected VF-1S sequence can be seen here: Another interesting bit of trivia regarding the "Special Preview" trailer is that is was actually storyboarded! Here is another cel from this Special Preview sequence.....
  10. M7 lami cards....
  11. An SDFM era Macross Bowl.... 2022 New Year's Resolution....Find a Macross Cup!
  12. I will check when I get a chance
  13. I don't think I will ever know exactly how many different items were produced by Ohsato from their Macross license during the SDFM era. Every time I think I have "seen it all" something new comes out of nowhere....and to bring the 2021 Macross Hunt to a close, I present another Ohsato "paint your own" Macross figurine set... This time, it is a smaller set of the "paint your own" Macross rubber figs.....I had not come across this particular set in my decades long run of Macross collecting.... The set comes with only 2 markers and 5 rubber figs of various size..... The larger and "relatively" more common set comes with 11 rubber figs, more markers, and a nifty medallion... Looking forward to what shows up in 2022!
  14. They definitely have a nostalgic charm....
  15. The ThreeZero 1/72 VF-1 must have all of the gimmicks the Kitz Concept 1/72 VF-1 has...as a starting point... In particular, it should have the same amount of articulation, which essentially is that of a Bandai DX...to be honest, it really should go further, otherwise, what's the point? Personally, I think they missed an opportunity to simply go bigger....they should have went with the Bandai 1/35 scaled VF-1 that teased a few years back...if not larger...at that scale it could have easily housed the "magic hands" and other never-before-attempted gimmicks at the standard scales we are used to...or maybe they should have just made a fully transformable 1/3000 TV SDF-1... Still, I'm looking forward to the first pics and just see where it goes... At least we can safely say the sculpt can't be any worse than a vintage Takatoku Henkei or vinyl toy....although based on some of the anime sequences these can be considered more "anime" accurate!
  16. I love the original SDFM TV series and the old school anime/art, but I hope they are not being literal in this statement.... "The highly-detailed design will capture the appearance as seen in the original television anime series" I do not really care much for "highly stylized" toy/model representations of the VF-1....like some of the Kids Logic, Toynami, etc. stuff Additionally....I will probably get the first version and then decide what is better between it and the Kitz Concept 1/72 VF-1....cost will probably play an important factor....guessing this will probably be more expensive than the Kitz Concept 1/72 VF-1
  17. It would make sense, at this point, to have it pushed to an October release....would be disappointing if it just has been completely scrapped... The Great Anatomy mook is worth it...nice to have all Macross releases represented within a single source...
  18. WTF?!?!? Yeah....I was used to the "de-listing" for years.........but they had never went out and actually cancelled existing PO's.... I have noticed that AJ has been limiting which Macross books actually become available for overseas shipping.....maybe they finally got around to blocking this one too.... Hopefully, it is just being pushed back to an October 2022 release to coincide with the 40th SDFM anniversary....UGH
  19. Your order broke the listing.....and wiped out everyone else's listing that had held patiently since 2018......... Hopefully, it is just being pushed back some more...maybe for an October 2022 release to coincide with the SDFM 40th?
  20. More pics from the pages of the Macross Great Anatomy mook.....the characters of Macross....
  21. It's an older release...came out in March 2013.... Easily available on auction and other sites including AJ.... https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/小太刀-右京/dp/4048915827/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=マクロス30&qid=1639805427&rnid=2321267051&s=books&sr=1-10
