  1. I've attempted to order from them several times before but their stock has always gone from available, to backorder to not available. So you can give it a shot and see if they actually have any. They didn't try to keep money for an item I never received so you should at least be safe there. The other thing to note is that they seem to have a lot of things listed as "pre-order" that have long since been released. VF-17S, VF-19S VF-22 Max and Milia the SDF-1. I know there was supposed to be a re-release of the VF-17S in a few months but none of those others are. Possibly the 19S, maybe even the SDF-1 for the 30th anniversary but definitely not the 22's... unless Yamato is hoping the release of Mac7 on blue ray is going to renew interest in them.
  2. I don't see a Regult but I do see a Glaug. Also they've got some VF-1A,J and S's on that webpage as well.
  3. Arguing over feigned practicality of an ultimately impractical cartoon plane is pretty silly. If you don't like the way it looks, like I do, just state you're not a fan and move on. Arguing over why somebody else shouldn't because you can't handle all of the intakes, or whatever it is, is silly and a little pathetic. PetarB likes it, and he built/painted a good looking model too. But telling him he painted a piece of crap well is just being a dick.
  4. I mentioned I found it on ebay.uk a few posts earlier.
  5. I just got my 25S today. Holy crap, for every one of you complaining about having something floppy/loose on yours Bandai must have tightened something a little bit extra on mine. I CANNOT get the plate with the head to move into position to transform to Battroid. I'm afraid to push on this thing any harder. It's just not sliding along that track. My hands are completely chewed up from all the pokey bits jammed into them as I try to move this freaking thing.
  6. I managed to get one from a Spanish dude on ebay.uk for about $195... shipping kinda killed it though.
  7. The CryEngine is used for LOTS of things that aren't FPS'es. The new Soul Calibur uses the CryEngine as well.
  8. Luckily I haven't needed any replacements yet (not even my first release DYRL Hikaru) but it's good to know I have a place to go if/when I lose a hinge.
  9. Sorry, I just noticed in that last photo it appeared inconsistent from the others.
  10. I'm honestly not impressed with how Experten's 11 looks in any of the three modes at all but if that's the only way I can get an armored 11 I'd go for one. The 11 in Battroid with the armor on actually does look pretty good.
  11. That's a nice silvery color on that there calf! Does this mean they're going to be releasing this thing earlier in the year or are we going to be blue balled for ten more months? Aww crap, I can already tell I'll want a "clean" and super packed up version of the 17 in each of the three modes now just like with the VF-1's... I don't want to buy six!
  12. So cutting through the Engrish here, they're going to have prototype Super Packs that are actually attached to the 17's correct?
  13. I still think it wouldn't be too difficult for Yamato to make add-on parts for the 11 right now. If they sold an armor set with an 11C I bet a lot of those would sell. More than just the regular 11C did.
  14. Why does it look like the head and part of the nose/cockpit area look like it's yellowing now?
  15. I don't have the skills, or extra gun pods, to pull off something like that unfortunately.
  16. Yeah, if I could mount some extra gun pods to make it look like that Grey Low viz I'd do it.
  17. To be honest those game models look awful.
  18. Am I the only one who is hoping to actually remove the giant skull on the back after seeing those sweet looking all grey models in the Master File book?

    Taking the Plunge

I hate to tell you this but there's no such thing as the price settling down when it comes to the VF-25's. Bandai make so few you have to jump on them when they're new or the prices will only get higher.
  20. I'm interested in one of these but if it's going to be that hard to track down I can live without it.
  21. I agree with this, but even still. There's plenty of deviations from the lineart in the other toys that doesn't particularly bother me. If it doesn't affect transformation, and I'm not entirely sure those canards might not with the way they have to fold down and fit beneath the fuelselage when tucked under in Battroid, why not make it as close as possible?
  22. After the one time I shipped via SAL and waited almost three weeks for delivery I decided paying extra for EMS or Fed Ex was worth it to me.
  23. You might not but plenty of others do. The people saying we're criticizing the CAD are wrong. We're noting differences/inaccuracies. Things we like that Yamato may have missed. We know Graham has contacts and he's asked us for input and spoken directly with the company before. There's evidence things found in the past have been caught and changed. None of us are saying "those wings are off, Yamato sucks, they should all die." We only noticed and noted a few things that don't mesh with the lineart and have brought them up.
