  1. To be honest I think that's a bad design. It's way too easy to pop those hip joints back out when you're posing it in Battroid. Even the little give when they're popped in makes it feel like it's not quite as stable as it could be too.
  2. As much of a Gerwalk fan as I am having a pair of D's flanking this S in Battroid would look totally awesome. I gotta see if I can save and spring for two D's instead of just the one I had originally planned.
  3. I finally transformed this thing into Battroid. Kinda interesting. It's definetely the most menacing looking of all the Valks. This is one tough looking son of a bitch. A few oddities. The Neck swivel was TIGHT. I had such a hard time moving the head into the correct position. I seem to be having a hard time keeping the two l-shaped joints at the hips to stay in. They keep popping out of their locked position. Also the right arm is super loose at the elbow. I took a screw driver and tried to adjust the screws there but neither in or out worked well. The two pieces of the gun don't seem to fit together too well either.
  4. So far Gerwalk has been fine for me. Pretty poseable. Still not quite as dynamic because the ankles have less play (and I'm also not willing to push them forward or back too far. You can get a pretty deep stance with the nose pointed forward without it tipping.
  5. So far they've been decent. The fact this Gerwalk has a back half that sticks out so far helps keep some of the weight off of the toes (though it will, as all of the Gerwalks do, tilt towards the forward toes.) So far it's been pretty stable and can dig its nose right into the Earth without tipping. I was going to test out some more dramatic/severe poses to see how it handles it tonight. Will let you know. So far I'm still not super happy that I can't really bend the feet back, or forward, as much though. The Ankles on this thing are a hell of a lot tighter then my 19S as well.
  6. I finally got mine last night. Didn't even have time to fully transform it yet. It's sitting on my dresser in Gerwalk right now. Something I did notice is that the head is not centered/aligned correct. I haven't transformed it to Battroid to see if it's easy to manipulate but from Fighter/Gerwalk it was pretty much impossible to straighten back out. From most angles you can't eve see it, but from top-down (the very first view I got of it in the packaging) it was really noticeable.
  7. Anybody sticker theirs with the low vis ones instead?
  8. Wow, that looks fantastic. How long did you work on that model? Any chance of a transformable version in that V.2?
  9. This is getting more and more interesting! What does that original SHE Kit you mentioned this is based off of look like?
  10. Mine has been sitting at Fed Ex in Albuquerque since Friday morning. Talk about killing me.
  11. Graham mentioned earlier that the designer specifically left the two Kites and the Diamond Force logo off because he didn't think they looked very good.
  12. Dang, I'm bummed it took extra time for mine to ship. It's sitting here in Albuquerque at Fed Ex and I can't get it until Monday.
  13. Hmm, I guess my estimate it would arrive today is off. Though Fed Ex says it went through customs yesterday and now it's been "In Transit" for over 24 hours... I hope that doesn't mean it's lost.
  14. Well this is nice and unofficial but it kinda shows their sizes. http://macross2.net/...s-black2000.jpg
  15. Hmm, my 17 has shipped the exact same day my 19 did (same day of the week) and it's in the process of shipping from Anchorage at approximately the same time and same day of the week the 19 did as well. If everything holds out it should be here in Abq. by tomorrow afternoon just like the 19.
  16. Ordinarily I'm for any sort of Max Repaint scheme that could exist (VF-11 please!) however I feel like the Max scheme for the VF-4 is horrible looking.
  17. Let's see what the price is first. I'm leaning towards buying one but we will see. I'm curious abouthow they pull off proportions as well.
  18. Hey Graham, how does this thing feel in Battroid in terms of durability versus the 19S? (My ankle issues aside) I thought the 19 felt so solid it was as if it were manufactured to be Battroid only (really, all of the modes felt like the toy was designed to only be in that configuration.) Does the 17 also feel this sturdy?
  19. I think that is some pretty ridiculous over-engineering.
  20. Very tempting... but let's wait for some more info and a price. If I have to assemble it myself but that makes it cheaper I'm okay with that. Painting probably won't happen though. If it's like the Regult where I have to do the work plus pay through my ass I'm not going for it though.
  21. It beats manufacturer error. As long as the user didn't break something it can be corrected. We should be so lucky if manufacturer error occurs on these toys.
  22. After getting a few of those little Yamato 1/200 Gashapons of the VA-3 I think I'm a lot more interested in how this turns out then I already was.
