  1. The color of Blue on that 19F looks the same as the 19S to me. I think it's just a trick of the light in those photos. I don't see why Yamato would change the tint for this one unless when you've got a 19S and two 19F's in tow it all suddenly looks obvious. i do wonder why they didn't go for Fast packs for the 19's when they've designed them for the 17 though. I guess it was just easier to implement on the 17.
  2. If you're referring to the VF-25 renewals the YF-19's are nowhere near a match. They're horrible messes compared to the 25's. They're horrible messes compared to every 1/60 in the last five years.
  3. I already went ahead and paid them so hopefully that won't happen to me.
  4. I'd take a new YF-19 as well. The Double Nuts I have is the most disappointing out of all the Valks I own. It hasn't aged well and stays in Battroid, the only tolerable mode, at the back of the shelf now.
  5. I can't wait to see how these turn out!
  6. That's a cool find. Very good model too. I still think our boy Dan here will have THE definitive proportions out of all the models we've seen so far though. As cool as the model that tan guy has been working on is I don't care for some of the proportions.
  7. I was curious what that shield adapter was all about. It's so the shield can be angled on the forearm while in Battroid?
  8. What about the upper torso transformation do you think makes it so tricky? Is it the fact you're trying to make everything as close to a real functioning machine as possible?
  9. This is already pretty much the most bad-ass VF-1 render we've ever seen here and it's not even textured yet!
  10. Geez guys, you're having problems getting Vf-1's out now?
  11. Which shop said it was being delayed again?
  12. Everybody keeps telling me LoS wasn't really Castlevania but I can't figure out why. It was a dude with a whip kicking mythological European monster ass. It felt like the very original Castlevania as I always understood it as a kid. And they were inspired by Castlevania 4 when making it which was just an SNES update of the original and I feel it felt like it.
  13. Does this mean both heads are done and you can start working out more of the body details? Ugh. I've been salivating over this thing for more than a year, you tease.
  14. Awesome. I can't wait to deck out my 11's! Any idea what the cost might be looking like at this point for the whole thing?
  15. Nippon Yasan is already asking for payment for the 171.
  16. Realistically people play games longer then 3 to 5 hours. I'm not sure how the find the time but that's their prerogative. I would say more realistically, does anybody here actually care? All I've ever read or got he impression of around here is that Sony is king and Nintendo sucks. I doubt many people here will try this thing out so why eve worry about it? I was honestly asking what sort of performance was expected of this controller and if they had an real data to support the time they want it to work.
  17. Those are some brown tinted Nintendo glasses you have on. In terms of updates to hardware I'll just list the majors. Also interesting, but miss-directed, comments about Sony. Let's look at their original hand held PSP, not the consoles, for comparison. GB -> GB Pocket. Better battery and added color. Still plays the old games. New one, better. GBA -> GBA SP. Better battery and backlit screen. Otherwise the other versions are just different form factors or other things you may want but aren't necessary. All of them still play the same games. New one, better. DS -> DSLite. Better battery, better weight balance and lighter, improved control pad and buttons. Still plays all DS and GBA games. New one better. DSLite -> DSi. The only "spotty" one here. Removes GBA compatibility but adds in wireless features and supports downloadable games. All old DS games still work. The DSi XL is simply a different model of the same thing. If you like larger screens you get larger screens but otherwise it's the exact same thing. Arguably a downgrade because of loss of backwards compatibility. PSP -> PSP3000. Better battery, form factor. Improvement. New, better. PSP3000 -> PSPGo. Removes ability to play games you've already purchased on disc for your old PSP. Download only games and Sony doesn't even support all disc games. I'm going to go ahead and say that in two revisions of their very first hand held Sony has been more spotty then Nintendo has been the last the last twenty four years they've been making hand helds. How long do you expect a device constantly streaming wireless HD data to a large screen to last?
  18. The funny thing is most other people are complaining that it isn't a SOTN clone.
  19. That's why I never bothered with the CF 1J actually. I didn't like that lighter color at all.
  20. Except this concept is false. It typically takes them two years to release an iterative hand held (except for the Gameboy where it was more like eight.) The internet is just very good at being overly dramatic and then actually believing their own hyperbole. I'm not saying they won't announce something now but the 3DS has been out since March of 2011 so that makes any potential announcement WAY past six months. If they announced a new version of the 3DS in six months, or even in September, I wouldn't be surprised. Right now it's internet conjecture. It's not like Sony hasn't followed suit. They had three iterations of the PSP already. And new iPad's actualoly do come out every six to eight months.
  21. My torso rocks a little bit. I don't think it's a quarter of an inch though.
  22. You've got some good looking poses going there Frogze.
  23. You're right, at this point in time they're no longer testing waters. They've had three (five really with the 171 and now 25G) fully sold out items with HUGE markups. Someone is missing a HUGE trend.
  24. The end of the second leading into the third is obviously where the writers start finding their footing.
  25. The only good thing about Lexxx was when it was originally on premium cable and had nudity... and even then it was still just barely tolerable. I remember my Dad showing it to me when I was fifteen or sixteen on Cinemax or Showtime or one of those (which is doubly odd considering he's a born-again Christian.) It gets a lot better. The first season and part of the second are a little weak to start with.
