I ordered from CDJapan and they won't let you bundle more than three pre-orders at a time so I had to split my orders in various ways. I just decided to let the stuffnin December ship first and then I'd bundle the stuff due in January be bundled together. -

Plinkette's summation at the end is wrong, if only bcause he praises TFA which has EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUES addressed in this video. Except it was shot with upbeat dialog instead of low key dialog. His opinion would be valid id he were consistent across both films bu he gives one a pass while the other he doesn't. -
For you in California it should go up for pre-order at 11pm (the 5th) in your time zone. Japan is seventeen hours ahead of you. Others have already mentioned the sites you can order from. I'd recommend signing up with an account at all of them listed now and be logged in waiting to go by 11pm. Keep checking this forum as well. The forum goers will post the direct links to the pre-orders as they appear.

I called FedEx international multiple times and all they told me was, "There's been a big backlog of packages going out. Please be patient..." when that wasn't really case. None of them actually wanted to do their jobs and look up what the issue was. I didn't find out the problem was actually a customs issue until it was resolved nine days later. I contacted HLJ to try to see if they could change or upgrade my shipping or find out what the hell was going on and they brushed me off too. I have a lot less respect for HLJ's customer service now.

As long as they feel like it. LA customs sucks. I had two orders of SH Figuarts figures that were shipped on the 17th of December. One of the packages I received on the 21st, the other was held over in customs until the 26th. They're a complete crap shoot.

I saw this the Friday it released. I liked it alright. Easily better than TFA but nowhere as good as the original trilogy. It needed ten or fifteen minutes more to sell personalities and a team dynamic. I still liked the characters more than TFA. That funal scene was... Terrible. And completely inconsistent with the rest of cannon. Pure, idiotic fanboyism and I didn't find it nearly as harrowing or exciting as others tried selling it to me. -
I wonder if the dx super part expansions will include the swords too?

Anybody get any of the latest Star Wars figures? LA custms held yalf of my packages for over a week so I got the one woth K2SO and the two death troopers. Honestly, Hasbro did a spectacular job with K2SO so the figuarts one wasn't anything special. The Drath Troopers can actually posed wih their rifles so that's a huge improvement. Also they don't have long moneky arms like the Black Series versions. Still wondering when the Shore Troopers are goong to arrive.

Anyone who looked at the Facebook page knows I'm still waiting on my effing 31J though it is actually in the US now. Turns out there was a problem with the paperwork for clearance outside the country. Would have been useful info for FedEx to provide so I could contact HLJ about it.

Christ, the Carriers are MASSIVELY over-sized too. The Prometheus shouldn't be longer than the fricking legs.

Chewie should be out in April. HLJ must be confused. I'll write up my thoughts on the digures when they arrive. Estimate is tomorrow, which I don't buy.

To be honest while there is an obvious lineage between the 25 and 30/31 they're really totally different overall. it would be like if you didn't like the VF-5000 because it's like the VF-1. And, as a matter of fact, the VF-5000's transformation is far closer to the VF-1 than the YF-30/VF-31 is to the 25 series and it still has it's own unique look in all three modes. The YF-30/VF-31 is like an amalgam of the 19/21/25. Only the exterior styling and basic shape are reminiscent of the 25, the actual configuration/transformation is like the 19 with the arms stowed to the outside of the body like on the 21/22 (more so the 30, the 31 deviates from that further.)

To be honest I've never had them take very long shipping things except for maybe once they did take two or three days.

You cannot "Pay Later" on web exclusive items from NY anymore. You have to pay up-front. They changed their policy in October of 2014, and that was a huge pill to swallow given how many of us had Pre-ordered the Figuarts Hulkbuster and suddenly had to cough up $300+. Also, I'm enjoying all of the price bitching. Remember when Arcadia were the overpriced bad-guys and Bandai were the low priced saviors who should completely eclipse and push Arcadia out of the market because their prices were so much lower and they could never, ever, in any way, shape or form hike the prices on their merchandise... and that's why I laugh.

Early comments are positive. Then again, most comments of TFA were positive too. This one is being called one of the better Star Wars films... so was TFA. I'll have to make my own judgement I suppose given how muddled (and clearly fanboyish) all of the reviews for TFA were because none of the early buzz can give a predictor if this is actually worthwhile or not. -

Why? The YF-30 can be displayed without the stand just fine.

Not that weird really but in the latest episode of Trekyards the designer of the Next Generation Klingon Vorcha Attack Cruiser, Rick Sternbach, openly admitted the forked disruptor on the front of the ship was directly inspired by the Macross and Yamato.
