Oh no, it was shipped. They just indicated to UPS I was paying for shipping even though I paid NY for it. UPS has been holding it ransom in town since last Tuesday for $203 while I wait for NY to get off their asses and inform UPS they've paid for shipping and deliver the damn thing.

Third parties will still probably ignore it even though I've read multiple stories how convenient it is for Adults to use, including a near word-for-word prediction I made repeated on the Penny Arcade website about precisely how Mike Krahulik uses it.

I can't find any photos but I saw a video featuring photos they've just shown off an original suit Spidey and a new Darth Vader with better proportions and a proper cloth cape. -
No, the 30 was sloppy in my estimation. The additional external brackets that the 31 easily incorporated is the real big one. Though for a first try they did pretty well. I think the 262 is worse, things are unnecessarily complicsted and they pretty much got Gerwalk mode wrong.

That's a good reminder. The Lego set is horribly undersized. And the design is terrible no matter how big or small it is.

Did you look at the Lego set? It looks like an oversized B-Wing with additional turrets.

So those things from the trailer lined up over the planet we all thought were capitol ships are actually "bombers" huh? They look like horribly dressed up B-Wings. I think the idea is they're like a flying fortress and they attempted to borrow the B-Wing aesthetic but... ugh.

The Space Battleship Yamato figure really makes me want some OG Macross Figuarts figs. So now that the MKV armor has been shown off it looks like the only armor missing from the Hall of Armors is MK I.

Kinda funny the only theme from any modern superhero anybody praises was written by a former electronic producer. To be honest I wasn't impressed with WW's Theme either, really. -
I'd have preferred Marvel vs Capcom. I don't play or like Monster Hunter.

Well, NY says they'll contact UPS. So maybe things will work out... no idea when they'll get around to it considering they're closed all weekend. Plus Holiday for us in US on Monday.

NY marked it as F/C, which is the International version of Bill Receiver (after charging me an extra $10 for shipping anyway...) Yeah, it gets better. I can't just show the UPS facility my invoice so they know I paid. They say NY has to send a release code that tells UPS they're actually paying the shipping or else I HAVE to pay the $203 and then attempt to get paid back from NY (what are the chances of that.) I'm assuming I'm about to have an Ami-Ami moment where NY is no longer a valid option for purchasing for me.

I don't know. I contacted NY about it. We'll see if they respond. The problem is right now the package is being held in town at a location that I have no chance of accessing currently.

Thank you, however I talked to somebody competent at UPS this time and she said that NY marked me down as Freight Collect, so after paying for shipping they marked the package as me paying for the shipping upon receipt. And for some reason the shipping is a whopping $180. So it's NY's frakk up.

If somebody frakks up the paperwork, but otherwise it shouldn't ever happen. This is the second time I've had to deal with it. One other time HLJ didn't use the right code on one of my shipments and FedEx sent me an invoice that I was easily able to call and dispute. UPS is holding my package hostage and employs the stupidest people on the planet.

The problem is NY switched from using FedEx to UPS. UPS and the local postal service here are a bunch of frakk ups. Besides, the idiot on the phone told me NY valued the super parts at $18. Just what kind of frakking duty charges you $200+ on an $18 part?

It gets better, I called UPS and the moron on the line told me that NY marked the shipment down as not covering any fees and that toys in the US are always charged duties and if I wanted the package I HAD to pay the additional $200+. And the only reason I never paid it before is because the shipper always elected to. When I explained to the dumb beaver that no company could ever stay in business paying almost three times the amount for an item purchased without charging me the difference she just kept repeating, "that's customs." I told her toys don't have a penalty and she claimed that everything but printed documents do. Does anybody happen to know the US Import code so I can tell UPS where to shove it?

Oh, mother effers. Because of the perceived false import charge UPS will not drop off my package at the designated point. It's like they're holding it hostage.

NY claims the contents of the package were not mislabelled and that it's a clerical error on the part of customs/UPS which I have to deal with. Yay.

I suppose the thing about him that was so special was the fact he could be massively hammy but still come off as suave. Most people who try to pull off Schlock come off like Austin Powers but Roger Moore always had a class and dignity about it.
