  1. Having your intrinsic field removed is obviously an unpleasant experience and leaves you unhealthy looking afterwards. I wonder if this is the comic-to movie adaption for adults we all have been waiting for. And it feels good to see the story without the gorey 80s/retro coloritzation. One more thing: Latex Spectre!
  2. My resin kit came in today. Same size as the Koto IP kit, but much better proportions IMO The instruction sheet had the maker's website: http://www.top1998.com/ge.ga0201.html
  3. I certainly wouldn't mind one or two Viper buildup pics from time to time
  4. That would be great, but I wonder if Bandai still has an exclusive licence for it. I see a HAL-X from Kotobukiya in the future, then it would be even more tragic not to have a Helldiver in the same scale. On the other hand, nobody would notice the difference anyway...

  6. I think that Ozma is one of the most underdeveloped characters at the moment and it would be far too early to remove him from the show.
  7. Abandon your SUVs, or Gort will be chargin his lazor. It will be powered by solar energy this time, of course.
  8. Ozma: "All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the SMS! A day in the SMS is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the SMS!" Klan Klan: "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."
  9. If they skip the Q-Reas, I'd have to kill someone. I'm just one step from trying to mod the old Imai kit.
  10. New pic of what I suppose is Kotobukiya's Hannibal kit:
  11. That's what sells the shows for me. I hated how Shirow tended to ruin a good story with the occasional eruptions of silliness in his manga work. Of course, for others, this is what makes anime so appealing...
  12. Since sequels are only one step behind remakes in their evilness, I'm posting this here: A follow up to 1991's "Point Break" is in the making. They still try to get Patrick Swayze into the boat (and keeping him alive...), though. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news07/070516a.php
  13. Well we get the multi-eyed green guy in the next episode, let's see what it does.
  14. It's nice to see in the direct comparision how the new renders make the models look more like traditional cel animation. I really like the look of the CGI in Macross F.
  15. If you are a Mac user & a fan of EVE, here's a nice icon set: http://mxmln.blogspot.com/2008/03/wall-e-e...t-for-os-x.html
  16. Pics of the Sanko die-cast toy from Beagle: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10073067
  17. ...and the F-35 is the most uncool fighter design ever.
  18. Great visuals, especially the landscapes look like painted background art from the anime. Here's a video of Oshii playing the Wii game & some nice gameplay at the end: http://sky-crawlers.namco-ch.net/asx/trailer_500k.asx The background music remind me of AC3. Though the female pilots have changed a bit since Rena Hirose. http://sky-crawlers.namco-ch.net/index2.html
  19. one more
  20. I think the cockpit, too, is an SL print, so expect something different on the kit.
  21. I meant de-evolution. But I'm not so concerned about the seams but the proportional issues that the near-production kit shows in direct comparison to the "printed" kits. I'd take those prototypes in an instant, who needs transformation? Garage kits to the rescue, please.
  22. I guess we can call that Devolution.
