  1. I should say so, since he's a founding member of X-Men (as well as Jean Grey, Iceman, The Angel, and The Beast).
  2. I can't wait to see their take on the Amazons. Me-ow.
  3. This thread is about your top artists. I just listed my top five favorites.
  4. In no particular order: Neil Adams (Cyber Rad) Jim Lee (various, most notably X-Men) Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez (Atari Force Vol. 2 #1-3, 7-, 9-12) Jack Kirby ('nuff said) Ron Lim (Silver Surfer) What're yours?
  5. Okay, so I confused the guy who played Falcon with Patrick Throughton . I just looked on Wikipedia. Alright, Tom Baker is the Doctor that I remember as the eccentric with the scarf, otherwise known as the Fourth Doctor.
  6. Yeah, I too have been waiting for Chrono Break to come out since I saw a teaser in a gameing magazine.Too bad, since I heard (I'm not sure on this front, I know someone will come along and clear it up) most of the people who worked on Chrono Cross jumped ship to Namco, and after the Xenosaga debacle, I'm not suprised that there hasn't been a good RPG that I've seen come out of that company. Especially after they merged with Ban-Dai.
  7. Anything William Shatner touches obviously turns to, well, shat .
  8. When my brother showed this video to me on his Wii, it just about blew my mind . Since I can't embed the thing here, I'll provide a link ot the page. ManOwaR, "Carry On" To all the ManOwaR and video game fans on this site, you're welcome.
  9. Right now I'm about to face off against General Viper in Fort Dragonia (Another World), which means I'm about to encounter the first major plot twist in Chrono Cross. I'll put in a spoiler tag, for those few who haven't played the game. It's a very interesting one, and Chrono Cross is probably the only game I know that has it.
  10. Remind me, was Tom Baker the curly-haired Doctor with the Scarf? I remember watching his stuff when Nickelodeon paired that show up with the original The Tomorrow People. I was also surprised that the actor who played Falcon on "Wargames" was an earlier Doctor (I can't remember which Doctor, though).
  11. Oops. I thought Madhouse was responsible for the new ThunderCats. Turns out they're responsibe for the new Iron Man and Wolverine anime (They went Jackman style for Wolverine, which is meh, in my opinion, I'm used to the one who's squat and built like a brick shithouse). The animation on the new version is good, maybe better than the Rankin-Bass version. It's hard to believe that the Rankin-Bass version had full frontal nudity in it; can someone pull my mind out of the gutter, please?
  12. For those of you who have the Official FF IX strategy Guide, we're s.o.l., mainly because Square-Enix's Playonline dropped their support of the online strategy guide. Oh, well, I guess that's what GameFaqs is for.
  13. I've got a few candidates here. Alien Nation the television series- a good spin on a good James Caan movie. A series where the immigrants were actually from interstellar space. Babylon 5- started out rather weak, but once Bruce Boxleitner joined the cast, the show took off. Too bad J. Micheal Starzynski (sp?, those Eastern-European based names are so hard to spell) had a falling out with TNT over Season 5, because I would've loved to have seen a season 6. It's also too bad that TNT aired Crusade out of numerical order, the story would've made more sense.
  14. Did I fail to mention that Mr. Bilger (Seto Kaiba) lives in the Dearborn area of Michigan? Well, that's my LKA For him, anyway.
  15. Maybe it's because that both Panthro and Groon were away for about 6 years searching for the Book of Omens, and it took Panthro some time to recover from the thrashing that Groon gave him, that Lion-O and Tigra barely remember him. It seems that this is a total reboot of the series, with nice homages to the original series. It's also a nice touch that Panthro's blind in one eye. That and people actually die in this series other than just Jaga. I also agree with you guys about Lion-O and Cheetara- Get a room, you two .
  16. Yeah, Xenogears disk 2 is very weak, with only a few sidequests to it before going on to tackle Deus. Also, the game's main weakness is that it's tends to be very linear (granted not as linear as, say, FF XII) but the menuless battle engine and the story really blow those gripes out of the water. Too bad Xenosaga II did so bad in sales, I would've loved to see the whole story of the Xenosaga franchise, including to what happened after the events of Xenogears. I also just started Deus Ex: Human Revolution recently, and sad to say, I have to start the damned thing over. It seems that I missed a rather easy Achievement to get in the game . I also couldn't believe how totally f.u.b.a.r.ed the main character got in the beginning of the game. I'll use a spoiler tag for those who are squeamish. Are you talking about Persona 3, mikeszekely? I have the FES version of the game myself (and boy what a pain in the a$$ getting it was), and a walkthough. According to that particular walkthough, well, spoiler tag time.
  17. I may be laughed at for posting this question, but is that a Panzer Dragoon anime?Edit: forget I asked the question, I just remembered that the Sega Saturn came out in the friggin mid nineties.
  18. I did'nt say anything about Flair. I was talking about the Anderson Clan. They're the ones most accociated with the Four Horsemen.
  19. If anyone ever, and I mean ever makes a dance mix of a Queen song, I will personally draw and quarter them!!! If Queen is serious of coming out with a new album, I hope they give Paul Rogers another call. God, can he pull the classic Queen stuff off. "Under Pressure" "Princes of the Universe" "The Show Must Go On" "One Vision" "Bohemian Rhapsody" "Fat Bottomed Girls" "Radio Gaga" "Killer Queen" "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" "You're My Best Friend" Don't knock ZZTop, guys. Billy Gibbons can play a real bastard as himself on BONES!
  20. You still have hope, the company is back as SNK Playmore (I think it's called Playmore).
  21. Gubaba, whey is it when you posted "LEGS!!!" did Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard, and Dusty Hill come to mind? 3 Days Grace "Break" The Doobie Bros. "Listen to the Music"-one time when I waiting for my order at Sonic, they were playing the dance mix for this song. I just about went into orbit; I WORSHIP AT THE ALTAR OF ALBUM ROCK!!! If you don't like it, I can tell you what to kiss. Jesus, I can't freaking stand dance mixes. It freaking makes me want to go find the DJ and kill him. Probably the reason why I don't go to clubs.
  22. All I gotta say is... F*ck you Vince for f*cking over the HORSEMEN!!!
  23. Whoever had the balls to make this show must've taken a penalty weight's worth of LSD.
  24. <---How could you miss the Baldur's Gate series? Granted I only have the Collector's Editon of Baldur's Gate II (too bad the collector's disk didn't come with the soundtrack), but it's a good game series, nonetheless. I've been wanting to get my hands on I and Tutu it, though (basicly what Tutu does is allow you to run Baldur's Gate I using the Baldur's Gate II engine). I tend to steer clear of the Dark Alliance franchise, too much hack-and-slash for me. The Snowblind engine may be pretty, but it's way too shallow for me.
  25. I liked the original "Appleseed" and "Record of Lodoss War" OVA. I have yet to see all of the "Chronocles of the Heroic Knight" from Record of Lodoss War. Both "M.D. Geist" and "M.D. Geist 2: Death Force" were particluary disturbing for obivious, gory reasons (I equate Geist to D.C. Comics' Lobo, except that Geist doesn't have Lobo's sense of humor; they're both sadistic bastards, nonetheless). The mechanized power aromors are cool in Geist.
