Currently building my MG Griffon Labor. I dry fitted the kit 5 years ago and because of life it got placed on my to do pile. Here are a couple of vids with an LED installed for the head.

@HardlyNever and @Grey728, thanks for the response. If the magnets are the problem, is there a way to fix it? are there panels that could be opened up and reverse their placements?

Does anyone have a problem with the front part not sitting flush together? I’m thinking of getting this one but seller posted that he can’t have it stick together. So there’s a gap between the two “arms” in ship mode.

Doing a WHOIS lookup of this domain name (https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=okini.land), the fact that there is zero contact information there is NOT reassuring....

 

So I did a quick research on why the contact information is showing Redacted. I guess since the site is European and with the whole GDPR thing now, its not uncommon to see this. I tried other European websites and most of them had redacted information too.  I tried Visiteurope.com for example and it showed info that is redacted. I'm not an expert on these things and I'm really hoping Okini.land comes through for those that ordered the VF-1A.

A toy reviewer in HK said none of his friends and him were able to secure a PO for the Max 1A. So it’s not just us American fans who got screwed this time. 

What if there were like 100 pieces and the reason we didn't get one is because of an error. Then tomorrow we'll get an apology from Bandai execs. They'll give us a two minute head start during PO. LOL

Has anyone been monitoring Japanese Macross sites or forums? I wonder if they experienced the same hell we did?

What were your experiences with regards to getting one on street date release of VF-1J? I never bothered checking because I got one on P.O. night.

I was excited thinking it would be 1/24 but this will be a nice alternative to the 1/35 kits in terms of playability. I built the kits and the joints just gets too creaky.
