    Really wish Bandai wouldn't have abandoned their Star Wars ships line. Those were the best kits and there were sooooo many more to get to! 😭

    @Papa Rat - Agreed with most here -- get the Blu-Ray's and watch the new BSG. It's FRACKIN great! (You'll get that joke later)... Thanks everyone for the compliments on the BUFF! I continue to try to improve but I'm always my worst critic! @tekering - As a HUGE fan of Southern Cross, I envy ALL your Captain America Resin builds, can't wait to see this one completed! Side note --- Would you ever think about trying to design and print the Zor's or "Robotech Master's" Mother ship? I've NEVER seen even a garage kit of it....

    @wm cheng - Well......soooort of....LOL. Honestly, this builds paint job took some crazy weird turns. My original flat gray paint job looked amazing, then the Tamiya spray can gloss darkened things up and I guess somehow reacted oddly with the Mission Models acrylic paint because from then on it never EVER lost this almost sticky tacky feeling. I resprayed Alclad gloss over my decals through the airbrush but even that didn't get rid of it completely, so I went back over the whole model again with light thinned down coats of the same paint and then sealed everything in Alclad Flat clear through the airbrush. It's pretty much normal feeling now....mostly...LOL

    Well..... That went as well as it possibly could have I think... Mission Models Gunship Gray thinned with Tamiya Acrylic thinner. I've been working on retraining my brain 🧠 to LET the airbrush do the work, don't worry about getting in super close to the model to get all the little areas. Cover it lightly as best you can then go in a little heavier then go in a 3rd time and try to get any spots you missed. Seems to have worked pretty well. These battleships are a very different beast when it comes to the painting... PATIENCE is a virtue young padawan! Coming from painting air planes and space ships I've had to learn that...

    @505thAirborne - Damn man, super bummed to hear that happened to the Galactica build! That has always been in the back of my mind every time I light a kit, but so far...my only two that I have done are still working great. I used brand new (but pretty cheap) LED strip lighting off Amazon and soldered all the connections myself. I turn on and off the Runabout every day at work and so far, so good....over two years in now! Over here today, sunny and 70 degrees so a LOT of priming happened this morning! I airbrushed liquid Vallejo primer thinned down with Tamiya Acrylic Thinner, worked out really well. Tomorrow, we paint ALL the TEXAS parts you see here! "May the odds be ever in your favor!" - 😂

    One day I will stop logging on to the MWF every few years and be able to ACTUALLY EASILY PRE-ORDER something I want from Bandai in a way that's easier than seeking the lost ark of the covenant....But today is not that day

    Anybody remember the old school He Man Kringer cat being green plastic but the purple Skelator cat having like felt on it? I had both and they got played with a lot! I think I only ever had He Man and Skelator and the cats though, always wanted Castle Greyskull but never got it!

    I missed the original release, so if I can get this on Amazon, I might bite. This will probably be the last Macross purchase I make, so, it seems fitting as back in 2008 or so (after finding MW on the web) my 1st was the Yamato 1/48 Roy. Kind of a book end to my Macross collection days.
