    Don't seem to be on there anymore, although if you search "Robotech", there actually are some interesting things on there now...but I find it to expensive now and the parts are really hard to sand smooth to get to look right.

    It was basically a side project I just did a little bit at a time while working on other stuff, one of those, I didn't really care if it came out good or not, but in the end it did! To be honest the 1:48 Shapeways MOSPEADA soldier guys I used for my river battle/camp diorama were FAAAR and AWWWAAAY more painful to paint!!!

    I agree, there is just as much WRONG with the modern Toynami design as there is right with the Gakken for a 30 year old design, They got it pretty darn close, and it was built like a tank. The only part that bugged me then and now on the Gakken was the "oversized" look of the the missile shoulders in fighter mode. Edit... let's have some Mospeada pics today as well with this new S7 camera!

    I repainted my Gakken figure a few years ago, I'll have to post a pic later, it came out good. Apparently as a kid I slopped a lot of blue Testors paint on it, had to clean all that off.

    Anyone else fondly remember when you flipped out the spring loaded nose gear as a kid and it hit your fingernail just right and hurt like hell? Gooood times..Ahh the 80's..

    Welcome back buddy! I did that kit many years ago, it's great! Looking good. Also never seen anyone finish the Spiderbug kit, I missed that one.

    I'm torn between getting the new MP or one of the 3rd party's. I really do like the anime accurate coloring and the gimmicks on the new MP, I don't like the price for sure, may hold off until some reviews go up of people with it in hand. I could care less what gun mode looks like, he'll stay in robot mode for me anyway, just as long as I don't have an orange freakin plug in the barrel.

    If we decide to get the new MP megs, but damn, that price IS crazy, will the ones from HLJ or wherever in Japan be allowed through customs without the orange plug? BBTS says the will open every single on and glue it in. Ridiculous.
