I doubt Yamato is going to do 1/48 again. I picked up some while ppl were dumping. They have the 1/60 done so well so I doubt they'll do 1/48 again and i think they sell 1/60s faster than the 1/48s did. Doing 1/48 for other designs would be too large and expensive. A 1/48 VF-1 is smaller than a SV-51 and a 1/48 is only a tad taller than other valks like VF-11 and VF-25.

compared to a few years ago, the yamato V2 valks with PT are so cheap at around $90. true they're expensive for a toy but it doesn't have a huge audience like hasbro's transformers. There are too many cool toy choices in Japan. take a Yamato VF-22 and compare it to a Bandai VF-25G, which do you think is a better deal? I personally like the VF-25 design more but there's no question in my mind that Yamato has a better product.

I hope a cheaper version comes out a year after the 2K version is initially released. But as of now, gf says no. Hopefully Bandai's Quarter is reasonable.

same here. valks are pretty expensive... like for the VF-11B. but if I like the design enough I'll pick it up. I was considering downgrading to 1/100 scale but you just get so much better feel and quality with a 1/60 scale that i couldn't do it.

I'd pick up a 1/60 sized revoltech Vajra if it was priced below $80! But if not possible, I'd want the whole Frontier cast in the same size as the Street Fighter Online revoltechs.

Might be a repaint, but I like the VF-11C over the B. Might pick it up if the price drops a bit I'm glad graham can pass on our gripes to yamato. At least the company listens to us and fixes their valks one repaint at a time.

I saw Macross II when I was very young. I thought I was watching some hentai. I was soo wondering when Hibiki was going to bed Ishtar. I was so shocked at the end when nothing happened at all. Now I found out it was Macross II... dang

The clear is pretty neat. It'll go well with the fold booster. Definitely for a niche market so it makes sense to be a web exclusive. Like regult mentioned about the skeleton, I prefer the clear model over the DX mainly cuz there's more to see inside. It doesn't look right to see into the fuselage and see nothing there.

oops sorry i was reading most of the thread and replied to yours at the end... yeah green huge aliens... that seems more likely than aliens stealing spiritia that you attack by singing to them... i think they took the idea of singing way too far in macross7 I finally got a chance to watch SDFM all the way thru this past weekend and I like it a lot more than DYRL... but that's for another thread

LOL.... i didn't like macross 7 until Max and Milia got into their valks and fought The Macross7 movie wasn't any better.

Nice collection. I especialy like how you set up the Macross Plus gets with their revoltech/GN-U counterparts and the Ultramagnus is nice

Wow... over $5K worth of toys there. I wish I even had half of that. You need a really big display stand and you need to start replacing the v1 valks with v2 valks

hmm... if only i had the budget to buy 1 yamato macross to build a macross city in my basement and buy 1 macross frontier to hang above to fight off the vajra.... i like DYRL more than the TV version
