  1. Go to the gallery section of the Big West Macross Zero site. No lineart of the F-14, but some quite good CG pics. Graham
  2. Although I've only been to Japan once, I did spend nearly the whole trip with Seichi showing Shawn, Noel and I round a great many toy, hobby and book shops and I've gotta say that I was surprised at how few Yamato and Bandai Macross toys were to be seen. By comparison, toy and hobby shops in Hong Kong (where I live) seem to stock far more Macross toys. Graham
  3. I haven't really been following this situation, so I don't know what's been done or said previously, but perhaps Shawn could explain the situation to Seichi and ask him to talk with Tanmen in Japanese to try to make him see that this is a business deal which he should honor and really has nothing to do with politics. And if I understand Tanmen's view correctly, he should have no problem selling to someone from say France for example, as France did not support the war on Iraq. So perhaps the orders could be resent by a French MW member as I believe we have a few. Graham

    K&M pics (?)

    Definitely customs. Graham
  5. Just found someone using this gif as an avatar at another forum. Quite funny and on topic Graham

    VF11B

He iscustomizing a Yamato VF-11B, so it won't be any bigger, unless he makes bigger tailfins. Graham
  7. To the best of my knowledge, neither Yamato or Hasegawa have been given access to CG models of the mecha from Macross Zero. All they have been given is some CG stills, e.g. side view, top view, some angled views, plus a very small quantity of lineart. Apparently Kawamori is still working on the definitive lineart, which is one of the reasons why there is no TIAS book yet and why only a couple of peices of lineart have so far been published. Graham
  8. LOL...maybe THEY know something we don't Graham
  9. The choice was real easy for me. The X-Box doesn't have a Macross game (and no, RT Battle Cry doesn't count). Pretty much the only types of games I play are flying games, so of course I bought a PS2 for the Macross game and also for Ace Combat 4. Graham
  10. Congratulations Kevin. When's the due date? Graham
  11. We have a forum for discussing Macross games and this is not it, but I am moving you there. Graham
  12. It's probably made by an ancient human civilization that worshiped the Aliens as goods (or demons) or some such nonsense. Graham
  13. OK, if I put this in the MW Custom Toy Gallery. Also, how about some Fighter and Gerwalk mode pics? Graham
  14. Wrong forum. This is nothing to do with Macross toys. Moved to 'Other Anime & Sci Fi' Graahm
  15. This is something that's been in the planning stages for a long time. I'm not sure if it's actually confirmed for production or not. Anyway, I don't have any details, but my best guess would be don't expect articulation, or at very best only extremely limited articulation. While Yamato do make a lot of Character figures for other animes, most of them are little more than fixed pose statues, so expect a similar sort of deal. I think if it gets made, it will probably be something like the standing Banpresto Miria, which is shown in my Q-Rau review, but with hopefully a better sculpt. Graham
  16. Theres a mission where you have to defend a Red Cross Hospital Ship from air attack. The only pilot you can choose for this mission is Ruth. I'm just wondering has anybody managed to complete this mission with the hospital ship still intact at the end? While I can get through the mission, every time I play the hospital ship is destroyed by the end. I shoot down the 3 'named' enemy aces, plus several of the unnamed enemy cannon fodder planes, but there are just too many enemy planes and I run out of missiles before I can destroy them all. Graham
  17. I would be 85% positive it's not, unless that chick gained about 5lbs in her face first. Vostok 7 85%, heck I'm 99.99% positive that's not the same girl. Graham
  18. Ya know, I reckon that's a bloke in a wig! Graham
  19. Heck yeah, I remember when they used to do that..........like 25 years ago I say bring them back. Graham
  20. The March 2004 issue of ARMS magazine had a much nicer looking Kusanagi IMO. Graham
  21. LOL.....Minkey-N Minkey, Minkey, where are you? Graham
  22. I wouldn't like to run into her in a dark alley.....shudder! Graham
  23. RDF Space Navy!!!!!!!!!?????????? Graham
  24. Quite like the design of the basic armor. Sorta reminds me of the Hard Suits in Bubble Gum Crisis. That the figures come with what I presume are flying surf boards is enough to put me off though. Some of the accessories, like the bike look nice, others not so nice. Graham
  25. Now that is very interesting. Unfortunately, even with encoding set to Japanese (Shift-JIS), my office PC won't display the Japanese characters, which is unusual. I guess it's that the Big West site is almost entirely in Macromedia Flash which is causing problems. Flash should be banned IMO as it makes my antique office PC crash half the time. Anyway, the only thing I can make out is pehaps the size 189mm x 127mm and a number 150. Damn, even Babel Fish refuses to translate it..........Grrrrrr Hang on a minute, that size is way too small to be a book! If you click on the 'Go To Information' link, it takes you to this page. Based on the other products on that site, I'm guessing that this is not a book, but a series of cards or digital prints, which cost ¥150 yen each and you print them out or download them from some sort of digital vending machine. So, I guess this is going to be another Japan only sorta deal Graham
