Arghhhh...............nothing to do with why Yamato is not doing much with 1/48 scale anymore.
Yamato have already done all 1/48 VF-1 already except two-seaters. They don't want to do two seater VF-1 in 1/48, as the 1/48 was not originally designed with two-seaters in mind and while possible, the end-result may not be good enough to satisfy Yamato, due to various compromises in design that would have to be made.
Yamato don't want to do other VFs in 1/48 due to the high cost and large size of the toy, which would likely result in reduced sales.
Nothing to do with licencing issues. REPEAT nothing to do with licencing issues or secret deals with Bandai!!!!!!
Simply put, 1/60 is Yamato's scale of choice, that's all.
Can we stop with the tin foil hat conspiracy theories please.
