  1. @arbit That is a great print! But I was so distracted by it, I did this! What have I done?!
  2. The 86 movie did have something similar for the fragile meat sacks...
  3. Is this the Hunger Games or Game of Thrones? Joke aside, I wasn't really interested in the first movies, more because Katniss seemed to be a character more inclined to be pushed wherever the 'wind' was blowing her rather than make her own choices or take her own path. For most of it, she was really was just a figurehead who made one major decision at the end to also kill the leader of the Resistance rather than let someone who appeared to be exactly like Snow take power. And to avenge her sister. I haven't read the books obviously, so I don't know if things are significantly different there.
  4. Soap operas are actually a step up from what Jerry Springer brought to TV everyday. I liked his monologue at the end, where he ended with telling people to take care of each other - after having a forty minute show about people trying to beat each other up... Still, RIP.
  5. Unicron! Looks good but damn do I wish this was a (as @TangledThorns mentioned)a live-action of the 1986 movie if they were doing Unicron.
  6. Noice progress! Will be nice seeing them sitting side by side.
  7. Nice find! And the deck on that bootleg Hornet sure is spacious!
  8. That's great! Would watch that! Robert Picardo's one man Trek show! My viewing block through the week would chock full of goodness!
  9. And even if they were I would not be interested. Unless they are intending to completely rewrite the sequel trilogy, which they are not, then I have no desire to see Luke crash and burn and turn into an old fuddy-duddy who hides away from the universe - yet still leaves a map with which to find him. As for the Manalorian, I liked it for the most part. It did get a little side-tracked on side quests but those were still entertaining and fun. The last two episodes were really good, I also liked Bo-Kataan, esp with Sackhoff in the role and would certainly sit down for a season wrapped around her character. I also hope this is not the last time we see Din and Grogu, though if it is, I think they were left in a good place. As had been mentioned about character arcs, unless something truly bad happens, Din seems to have reached the end of his.
  10. Just living up to the adage, a woman in every port...
  11. That's one thing I wish they'd shown, more close-in rather than the distance shots. I can only imagine that there were other ships, civilian as well, that could have gotten caught in the cross fire. Plus, I think that last shot was just a 'beauty' shot of the two ships, ala Undiscovered Country.
  12. The debris had to come from somewhere and that was the only battle that took place with the only ships that took part. Sure a lot would be from orbital defense systems and even bits from Space Dock, but since SD was also returning fire, then the assimilated fleet was also taking hits and shedding parts.
  13. Yeah, it's easy to hold one person responsible for Wolf 359 (disregarding that he was under another's control) but much harder when it was most of Star Fleet who were used this time.
  14. Very true. It's not like a faction of Star Fleet broke away and tried to take over, they were just used as tools.
  15. Spacedock itself. It was putting up quite a bit of a fight.
  16. Keaton most certainly is - Batman! And if they do the story well, with good writing and acting, then a repetitive story is fine. Most books and movies we have have all been done before in one way or another. It's all in how they pull it off that makes or breaks it.
  17. Haven't! They are hidden somewhere in the dim recesses of my cobwebbed-memory, either buried in a far and silent corner of the world - or having been sold off years ago because I didn't think I would build them. Doh!
  18. Bought one of those sets as well, though now I need to find either one of my Big D models - if I haven't forgotten about selling them off at some point... Also bought one for the E-E, for when I ever get to that one. I'd recommend caution though with them. Use a small decal as a test to see if it needs any 'special' treatment.
