I have bought a lot of ebooks but very seldom their paper copies (when available.) I think from now on I'll use Amazon for the preview and buy the paperback (when available) or hunt for the e-title elsewhere. They want to eff around? Okay.

The Kairos, please!

This is why I insist on physical media (books, cd and cassette). If I pay for it, it's mine.
Ever too true! The only thing people really own is phsyical.

Unfortunately, so does spider Gwen. It would be really hard to keep a secret identity when your own name is part of your hero name. Clark Man or Spider Peter or The Winter Bucky or Aquaman( I couldn’t even remember his actual name and he’s already a lame character) or Green Oliver( could’ve been Queen Arrow, but that would be just confusing) are all pretty bad.
I did not read much of the comic, but is she called Spider Gwen, or is that just the title?

Maybe there will be one on amazon if that Nicholas Cage series ends up something.
personally, I’ve never really liked the spider Gwen character. It always felt very what ify and then name was kinda dumb. It would be like if Bat Bruce or Iron Tony were actual super hero names.
But Bat Bruce and Iron Tony sound lame! /s

Just FYI for those not aware, on Feb 26, Amazon will be removing the Download Option on their Kindle. This option allows you to download the ebook you have bought onto your personal computer. Without it, they can adjust content of a book you have already bought or, as has happened in the past, delete the book entirely from your Library. Have fun getting a refund...
If you haven't already, I'd suggest downloading your favorites now. Personally, I've started moving back to physical media (paper books) just for the joy of them, but being abkle to keep what I have purchased is a nice bonus.
A good saying I came across on youtube is, "If Purchasing is not Owning, then Piracy is not Stealing."

Totally. That’s why the text should be upside down when held but instead the images show it right side up. Lol

I do prefer the movier version Meltrandi ships. I like those sharp, sleeker angles.

I always figured they were that way because the gun pods, when belly mounted, were 'grip-up' so the logo was correct in that orientation.

I don't recall if these ships were used in OG Macross or just in the follow up series?

Sorry for your loss @MechTech. He sounds and looks like he was the goodest boi! He brought you many happy memories, and I'm sure you did the same for him.

Maaaaaabe that's a little itty bitty sliver of HOPE we'll someday get Zentradi captital ship models from them??? PLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEE!!!!!!🙏
I would love for them to do that. I still have some of the older ships kits that I still need to put together.

So recently got a resin and filament printer, and decided to tackle doing Battle 25 by MiniValks, and I tried to scale it to be around 1/3000 to be in scale with the Arcadia SDF-1. But I can't seem to find any images of a side profile with Battle 25/21/7 next to the Macross itself while all ships are in Fortress mode. Anyway here's a progress pick. I'm feeling it's still a bit to small and I'm gonna a have to reprint the whole thing.
Impressive print! As for size, it doesn't look too off, I don't think. I found this size chart in Pinterest.
One thing I'd note is that the drive section/legs look smaller than they should. Or, the arms/flight decks are oversized, which looks more likely when comparing the Frontier's legs to the Macross.

Anyone here watch THE GORGE on Apple TV+?
We watched it over the weekend, overall, a fun movie and worth a watch with some popcorn or ice cream.
That was a good movie. I liked the mystery of the Gorge and wondering where it came from and thought Taylor-Joy and Teller had some real good chemistry.

Unless KITT hacks its systems and makes it 20 years too late to the finish
IDK, I think KITT would find the Delorean to be too stupid to hack.

Another cool build coming across the Desk of @pengbuzz!

Before you finish up that chop job, make sure to check where the parts wound up on the new fuselage, since the XL was several feet longer, and it might mess with where things line up.
Will be really fun to see it though, I don't think anyone ever made a kit of the two-seater variant.
Wish I could say I was trailblazing!😄

As to parts placement, I'm just worried the big items, like the gun muzzle and the placement of the main gear well. The Tamiya kit is going to donate the new muzzle and I'll have to cut a hole for it along the back edge of the canopy on the Hase nose, and I'm thinking, after having cut off the rear of the Hasegawa's lower fuselage, that I can put it in all-in-one without needing to cut it up any further. Then it'll be a few sessions of cleaning up the new joins.🤣

On my table is a bit of conversion work. Over the years I have managed to get a hold of two of the old Monogram F-16XL kits, and have thought about putting them together. Now there is an F-16 GB going on Britmodeller and so I offered that up for the sacrifice. After a false start where I ruined inscribing the kits raised lines (and discovered that said lines were fictitious anyway) I restarted with cutting out the kit's nose and central body and replacing them with one cut out from a D-model Hasegawa kit. (The first try was with a Tamiya CJ, but the sublime detail on that is really too good for the Monogram parts and that brand new kit will now be a part's mule for the build.)
So yeah, three kits going into one, as I will be using the Tamiya cockpit/gear and wells/burner can in a Hasegawa body mated up to Monogram XL wings... Gonna be a Frankenplane. What would that be called? Tamasegram? Hasamiyamon? Montamegawa..?)
Anyhoos... Parts cut and inserted and waiting for clean-up and refining.
(...pssst, and repositioning the gun further back...)

I'm looking forward to it. It looks good, but I just need them to not Worf the finale - again! Just give us a live version of the book finale for once.
And not to harp on the show, but I just finished rereading the Eye of the World after some thirty years since the last time, and it brought home just how much they changed from it. Yes, changes must be made for an adaptation but they really made it something different. Again, I'm fine with that as I have always come into this as it NOT being the Wheel of Time but something different altogether. I just need them to have a good finale.
And maybe, some time in the distant future, someone will finally do a live-action version of the Wheel of Time.
