How did I not know about this amazing product? Granted this is my first year building, but wow does this make seam filling with CA a breeze! I’m in love ♥️

Oh and current workbench project is the Wave 1:144 Engage SR3

Hey, I use that too! Only it's branded with a Walt's HobbyTown logo in the silver band. Works great to set CA real fast for seam filling. I don't use the pump spray though, I unscrew it and use the hose inside to dribble about just enough just where the CA is.

Well, to each their own. I just think it makes a mess of things.

Besides, I can now put the movie fare towards another model.

Same, for the reasons listed above. Cheap LOLS. I really do want to like this movie, so please, I hope scenes like that are few and far between. If not outright cut before release!

I've watched the trailer twice and I did not see Garrett Hedlund. And he's not listed as part of the cast on IMDB.

    I thought this was him....

...but with repeated viewings, maybe not. would be a waste not to have those characters in it in some way.

It was a punchline the moment they showed Krypto at all

The teaser handled Krypto really well. He showed up, Supes said take me home, and Krypto dragped him home. Quick, neat and simple. 'Who's a good boi?!'

If it is left in, then that seriously undercuts expectations of Supes facing a dire threat if the drama is not allowed to grow. It suffers crib-death.

And, at the risk of quoting myself, a better suit than this new version...

One thing that need to go before finally showing this in theater - get rid of Krypto jumping all over a wounded Superman! The first teaser built up this dramatic moment of Supes being hurt - badly! - and now it's a comic punch-line..? This is what I am afraid of seeing more of, dramatic moments being one-upped with a joke. Most of everything else I've seen (except for the eye thing) is looking good - just dump that!

  6. It looks good so far. We see Sam in there for a moment, so I hope we end up seeing Qura as well - and that neither are killed off in the first ten minutes, Or hour. Or two... If they do, I will walk out. As to apparently there being no Tron, I wonder if Leto is a reboot of the character? At the end of Legacy, he's last seen drifting in the water, so I am wondering if an AI version of Flynn found and rebooted him.

As to grid powers, I wonder if they have to be innate rather than imbued? Or if that real-world question will even matter..?

And I really hope they don;t rely on 'other media' to fill in gaps. I don't do comics, and if they can't reference it in the movie they shouldn't touch it.

I can't remember exactly what it was about Man of Steel that makes me think I was not looking forward to it.  It was one of three possibilities.

    1 - I thought "ANOTHER" intro story?

2 - I thought the guy from Superman Returns should have had another shot at the role.

3 - Perhaps it was just the movie itself tainted my memories of it from before I saw it.  The movie itself was a letdown.

Routh's version so deserved a second movie! The first was entertaining but too much of a redo, though I liked that it was a continuation of the Reeve version and not just another reboot. I would loved to have seen it get some legs under it and tell a new story. Oh well...

Yeah, the pictures of all the new generation missing their dad’s with the exception of OJ was pretty hilarious. I kind of think there might be something to this ridiculous movie. I haven’t seen an over the top goofball comedy in a few years and maybe this one will be fun. Might be a good laugh, or an absolute train wreck, but I’m curious so far

Depending on where you sit, even train wrecks can be fun.😉

    Oh man ...

My super cheap mini compressor died today. RIP, my dear super cheap chinese device...

IMG_5741.jpg.616b13a2772041911b407f0263cc7626.jpgIt worked for 2 years maybe?

The fun part is, it didn't die because the compressor itself broke. It broke because the single action airbrush that came with it failed. The air seal failed and the airbrush color oozed from the color container into the compressor, breaking the whole thing. I tried to take it apart, because hey, maybe I can fix it by cleaning it, but everything in there is just glued onto each other. So no luck with that. It'll do one last trip now ... to the trash can.

I'll see if I can salvage anything useful from the single action air brush. If not, it will have the same fate.

Good I still have my professional airbrush compressor, but this small thingy here was really convenient. Maybe I'll get a new one.

I remember it's arrival. Glad it served well.

OK, its funny but OMFG that last part! 🤣😂

The good news is they are not trying to reboot it. Kinda. And they got almost as straight-laced an actor as you can get. My first thought was that I hope they went right back to Police Squad for inspiration, and seeing the line-up of cops crying over their dad's pictures feels like it could have been lifted straight out of it. I am optimistically hopeful.

It’s far easier for me to make a list of his two movies I didn’t like (Batman and Dr Moreau) than to list everything great he’s done. Willow, the Doors, Top Gun and more Top Gun, Top Secret and quite a few others are absolute treasures. He was a great actor and since I’ve heard the news, I’ve been feeling a down. Maybe I’ll watch one of his fun ones to bring up my spirits later

    I rewatched Willow yesterday...

  12. Man was a true professional in his trade. Every role he took, he went all-in and made us believe. Thank you for the fun movies of my youth, as Nick Rivers and Chris Knight, and the ever-irreverent Madmartigan, and into early adult-hood as the very cool Ice Man, bringing to life the times of Jim Morrison, and embodying the epitome of stalwart friendship as old Doc Holiday... and really far too many others to list!

Just thank you, Val Kilmer. You will be impossible to NOT miss,

I have to agree; while RT opened the door for many fans, it's done now. Macross is pretty much the only part of RT most liked anyways; it always felt instead of advancing that man got worse and worse in all ways in the RT overall story arc anyhow. The tech got worse and civilization pretty well crumbled until people were living in hovels under the Invid.

In Macross, man actually improved (colony fleets, slowly repairing Earth, Colonies, exploration, etc), and civilization spread. We also got better at building mecha and other stuff.

*pops in M+ and sits back with some popcorn*

On point! By using already made 'properties' HG was restricted in their 'story telling' to someone else's already completed work. They tried to move forward with the Sentinels, but Earth was still basically withering behind them while they poked around with the Masters. I much prefer the Macross time-line and its promise of recovery and growth.
