    Man. Got hit with a virus or something for the first time in all of my computing lifetime, which spans over 12 years. Now, keep in mind that I NEVER run firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spyware, NONE of that stuff and even with me going to sites where no browsers have gone before I've never had any problems. Meanwhile, I've got people like my gf and some friends that are generally benign folk who use the internet for "good" things like school, work, etc. and they get viruses and whatnot almost monthly. Anyway, what happened to my computer was something I've never seen before: I couldn't open anything, nothing as simple as notepad, the control panel let alone any programs. Have you guys ever been hit with anything ? If you have, what were the symptoms and how did you go about fixing your system? I'm just trying to get information for when or if this happens again. I've always been under the impression that once you're infected, especially at the registry level, wiping everything clean is the only way to go...What do you guys say?

    It (the plot) was straight forward because the story was so simple-simon and I had trouble staying awake. I dunno, the whole self-destructive persona of Tony Stark and how he just can't seem to get things right was forced and didn't get me to care one damn bit. The characters were so lacking in depth or conflict that I couldn't find a reason to care about them either. Samuel Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Gwyeneth Paltrow and a slew of other people served no purpose to that entire movie, asides from just "being there to be there," and just left the story meaningless and completely forgettable. On another note, can we please just stop with the Samuel Jackson thing? Yeah I know, he's a bad-ass-motherf**ker who's black, sassy, proud and just too goddamn cool but it's old. I'm talking 1994 Pulp Fiction old. Give it/him/us a rest from it already... -Oh, and don't stick around 'till after the credits-save yourself the hassle of losing even more of your time and just watch it on Youtube...

    Eh, it was during a moment of emotional devastation. Before my gf chose me she went out with this total dork-nut of a loser, and a friend and I were at the theater when they were going in at the same time-suffice to say after sitting through that movie I had one of the worst days of my life lol...

    Lol. I shoulda' talked to you before I bought my 74G raptor drive. It cost, well I don't remember how much it cost, but I got a whopping 74G HD when I could've gotten a much larger drive for the same price...

    That's just it though. People want things easy and consoles give people games without the muss and fuss of having to tune your rig to play the latest games. I mean, I was seriously tempted to abandon my system upgrade to play the new AvP and other games, just so I could be free of the hassle and just power my console on. I see desktop gaming as becoming even more of a niche/specialty as the years go on. Once again, people don't want to have to work to play and that's just the sad truth of it all. For me though, I'm planning on SLI in the upcoming months-screw consoles...

    Love that California. Next to the F-50 it's my favorite Ferrari... You know, being car people you'd think that we'd be satisfied just to hear the engines in our cars as we race into oblivion, but ever since the cd player in my T/A stopped working I refuse to drive it. I feel your pain and hope you resolve your stereo issues. I on the other hand am too broke to deal with it...

    Yeah, those eyes of hers were like bullets-beautiful. Anyway, you gotta' love that "Noir" type action they've got going on here: scores of hardened tactical soldiers with automatic rifles and armor being taken down by two Gap-dressed civilians armed with nothing but pistols, smoke grenades and all the freckles you could ever want on the body of a woman...
