  2. Just noticed something interesting https://www.ebay.com/itm/255845435462?hash=item3b91938846:g:kScAAOSwW4JjgDNV I got both my monsters from Ron @ GTC back in the day (same set of stock, from TCI) The whitebox has a Tatsunoku sticker, while the blue has the standard big west The ones in Japan have the bigwest sticker. Just stupid info for the nerds
  3. Anthony from Wise Guys Hobbies sent over a new video of the warehouse, and did a quick tour https://www.macrossworld.com/the-gtc-legacy-project-part-2-warehouse-introduction/
  4. I say just strap a 4k go-pro on your forehead, and start going through boxes grab box, go through it, rinse and repeat would be a great way to self-inventory and archive in time Imagine you had a video like that from 1985 going through all the cool stuff, it would be an instant classic And if you don't do it, your are punishing the children of the future. So selfish. 😛
  5. Anthony from Wise Guys sent over another video today, I'll get it uploaded tonight. Its an awesome mini-tour of the warehouse where they will be setting things up. Stay tuned! S
  6. Yeah...how about the JVMacross Living-Legacy Project? I'll throw it on the main page too! Grab a camera and start going through boxes.
  7. Ok...think I fixed it I did not know Firefox (or other OSes) might have an issue with HEVC videos...converted to H264 and re-uploaded Please refresh and confirm they work Shawn
  8. I was going to ask around if anyone had an earlier catalog to share, would love to see more of the earlier items. You might want to try a different browser? The videos are there in a desktop browser And I just checked my my phone-they play in CHROME, but Firefox is not seeing them Interesting! Open CHROME
  9. Is there anything you DON'T have!?
  10. I wondered what was wrong with the feet on this one Then looking at another ad, it had a reflective base...someone missed that when they did the extraction from the original image
  11. Hey! That's the factory ad from above. wild.
  12. Yeah good catch! That one in the booklet is literally the same one n the ad, very cool. So the mai photographer/model builder team took a ton of pics of all the dioramas for various uses...and I'm sure those negatives are stuck in a box in someone's attic in Japan fading away 😛
  13. And this one from Imai...that AINT the released version of the 1/72 Gerwalk kit...I think it could be a prototype. Check out the canopy and nosecone. Maybe they we not happy with it, so they decided to quick change it to the 'beak' version that was finally released. vs the BEAK
  14. Yeah, the mecha factory ads are some of my favorites...just awesome I bet they had a lot of fun building those!
  15. Seeing the GTC project pictures has got me all nostalgic...so figured I'd break out some Model kit ads from various magazines I've been collecting since we did the original Model ads page on the legacy site from 2005ish. Hope you enjoy! I'll be doing some official scans in January
  16. video #1, room #2, right wall Arii 1/72 Destroid Tomahawk Arii 1/500 SDF-1 Storm Attacker Imai 1/144 Queadluun Rau video #1, room #2, left wall Another 1/100 Imai Tomahawk case Imai 1/44 Nousjadeul Ger Imai 1/100 Glaug Imai 1/72 Regult
  17. I also want a million dollars so I can buy it all ok???
  18. Having fun frame stepping into the videos and identifying the specific cases! From video #1, room #1, right wall Top to bottom we have From video #1, room #1, middle right wall I believe we have 6x cases of the Arii 1/100 small missile Regult around the U shape Top of the U on the right I think is the Arii 1/100 Super Gerwalk In the center is the Arii 1/100 Super Fighter and I think that says AR-327 on the box, which could be the Aroo 1/100 Scout Regult On the left wall is a Southern Cross In the hallway Imai 1/100 Tomahawk (not sure which color box) and AR-302 implies the Arii 1/100 Defender
  19. I tried to email Hobby Japan Vintage about it. Would be awesome to see it in a magazine! I'll probably need to engage Gywn or someone for the Japanese version of the story submission.
  20. Please spread the word if you can. I don't do any social media other than this site, so if you want to tweater and facespace it, please do LOL 😛 It truly is a once in a lifetime discovery, I hope with enough support we can encourage Anthony at Wise Guys Hobbies to really dive in with many more pictures and videos. I know I've had dreams of rummaging through model kits on shelves and discovering something new...I can't be the only wacko! Going through all these cases of discovered kits would be a very fun experience!
  21. This the official discussion thread for the GTC Legacy Project by Wise Guys Hobbies LLC, which can be found here https://www.macrossworld.com/gtc-legacy-project-part-1/
