Pat S Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Looks like HLJ got some new stock in... http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist.cgi?Series=Amdriver&Dis=2 I ordered some of the Moto Bisar and regular figures for some Mospeada customs...
bandit29 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 These toys are pretty cool looking. Whats the anime like?
kidkorrupt Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 i found out about this way too late, there was a tiny article about it in the figure 0 magazine. i havn't really cared too much about new toylines but this one has me interested. saturday = a trip to frank and sons.
wolfx Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Fansubhttp://a.scarywater.net/miyuki/ 1 episode and many more to go. But...hey....let's see what's this about. I'm guessing its gonna be something like TRON or something.
Max Jenius Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Here`s the latest release; Amdriver NyrguiseVery cool, the most chaotic neutral looking of all the Amdrivers. The helmet is very bubblegummy too, for you ambitious figure converters. Some minor gripes though. All the armor limits his posability somewhat. And when you try to reposition the floating binders the backpack frequently falls off. Trying to get the fig to stand on its own is also a bit of a pain. This one is red... so its cool. The rest suck.
Myriad Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 I just watched the first ep. I dunno yet. I will give a few more eps a whirl. Anyone else grab it?
Pat S Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 I got some of my Amdriver toys from Amenbo.com today. I did the ship rate which took about a month and a half I intend to make some Mospeada customs with these guys. First I put together a Ragna and Moto Bisar combo. Looks beautiful, but it could not stand in any pose other than straight legs and bent over the front due to the weight of the wheels. I read that this was a problem. I tightened all of the screws in the legs, and it did nothing (they were already 100% tight!). I was about to try some nail polish or glue on the joints, then I thought about how sticky electrical tape can get, and... that did the trick. I put little pieces of electrical tape in between the joints, and now it's tight as heck. These things come with so many guns and extra options, this is going to be fun!
wolfx Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 OT: could someone seed the torrent for the anime? http://a.scarywater.net/miyuki/[MnT-EnY]%20Get%20Ride!%20AMDriver%20-%20Stage%2001%20[FD0CA980].avi.torrent I'm stuck at 99.9% these ppl are tormentors....
Myriad Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I could not get past that mark. File runs fine for me.
Feyd-Rautha Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 it looks like IMAI 1/15 ride armor parts were used for the mospeada custom ..most definately! it so jammin!

DARKWIND Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 (edited) Sorry, I didn't get that one I left Japan before it released. . . (Wespac cruise) Edited August 20, 2006 by DARKWIND
shiyao Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Hey, DARKWIND and wolfx: it seems like you guys have managed to get some pretty articulate poses with your respective moto bisars. how about a photo review, and maybe telling all of us how you "modified" the moto bisar to become poseable? (like for instance, wolfx with electrical tape etc. .. ) thanks! also: these AM Drivers are on sale at Takashimaya in Singapore right now, so if anyone wanted, I could help out with purchases. just a thought
