VE Telus Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 (edited) I'm currently looking for a pic of Yamato's 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru out of box, with Super or Strike armour attached in robot mode. All I see online are the box pictures, and none sport the fast pack add-on. Can anyone help? Please? Edited December 31, 2003 by VE Telus
grassland Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 This is good enough???? Happy New Year...............
Solscud007 Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 (edited) Here hows this too? oh wait you wanted battroid mode. oh well more eye candy hehe Edited December 31, 2003 by Solscud007
Mechamaniac Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Cool, and you get to see a rare treat in Solscud's picture as well. That valk has the vaunted HARO add on to the strike pack!
grassland Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Just like in Star Wars, R2-D2 unit on a X-wing.
Solscud007 Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Hey Kenneth here is mine in Battroid form
VE Telus Posted December 31, 2003 Author Posted December 31, 2003 Thank you, all! And Solscud007, those must be the Choro-Qs Lisa keeps telling me about! My last question, and I promise it will be in this seemingly endless line of questioning, is how tall are the 1/48ths with the Super armour attached? From feet to the Super booster pack (ignore the Strike gun for now), how tall does this figure come to? *figures out shelf space*
JRock Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 My guess is it's a good 10-13 inches tall. Keep this in mind that 20th Ann. Prime towers over a fully stocked Valk, so them sucka's are big!
soze Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 Here is another shot Geez! You wasted no time putting those packs on! Anyway here's a picture that I posted in an Optimus thread comparing the 12-13" Optimus to a 1/48 VF-1J with Fast Packs.
Skull Leader Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 SWEEEEEET...... I can't wait until mine rolls in later this week... *runs off to find some fast pack armor*
ComicKaze Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 (edited) One caveat...the fast packs aren't that blue, but a greenish color when you take them out of the box. Edited January 1, 2004 by ComicKaze
VE Telus Posted January 2, 2004 Author Posted January 2, 2004 *shakes everyone's hands in this thread* Thank you! Being a Transformer fan, I know precisely how tall Optimus is to be able to draw a comparison with the valkyrie! NICE!
vlenhoff Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Here is the hikaru 1A, but looks almost like the 1S from this view Vic
Rabidweezil Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Here is mine, completely done in Takatoys great stickers
treatment Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 damn! the black-heatsheild sure do rulz on the Hikaru-1S! I'm not sure about the black-skulls on the FAST-packs, tho.
Skull Leader Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 mine just rolled in (thanks Kevin!) and the pictures do not begin to give it justice.... these things ROCK......
peter Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 damn!the black-heatsheild sure do rulz on the Hikaru-1S! I'm not sure about the black-skulls on the FAST-packs, tho. Ok, not sure if this question's been answered or not (feel like a noob for asking), but does Hikaru's VF-1S come with a black or red heatshield? I was just poking around on Yamato's website and I saw it with a black heatshield. http://www.yamato-toys.com/list.php?-a=pro...2&-id=193&menu= And again I saw one with a black heatshield, but most examples I've seen have a red one...which is it? Or are the black ones custom mods?
Solscud007 Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 I think it might be a swap with a Roy focker heat shield or it might be a Head and heat shield swap of a Roy onto a VF-1A Hikaru
EXO Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 That was a photochop of a Roy-1S Yamato did when the Hikaru 1S was announced.
