derex3592 Posted Monday at 02:20 PM Posted Monday at 02:20 PM ALL PE railings, microscopic PE parts/yardarm and alllmooost all PE staircases ( I had to leave 3 off, I just could not get around everything else without breaking something, if you don't know they are supposed to there you'll never know) are DONE on the TEXAS. Started running rigging line yesterday, which I like doing with the EZ-Line, It's kinda fun. Minor paint touch ups done this morning, we're getting close now! Gotta try and get the base and nameplate painted this week hopefully. Quote
Papa Rat Posted Monday at 02:25 PM Posted Monday at 02:25 PM @SteveTheFish Wow that’s looking great! It’s cool the kit comes with a helmet and head option as well as glove and cannon arm. Super excited to see this one completed. Do you think it will stand on its own in those heels? Quote
slide Posted Monday at 05:57 PM Posted Monday at 05:57 PM (edited) Whelp... I made a grievous strategic error... apparently shop towels are too abrasive for removing weathering wash from models... noted... now back to touching up the paint *grumble grumble* Edited Monday at 05:57 PM by slide Quote

It can be made to just hold and mess around with, but in order to get her to stand up straight on a shelf, I'll use a brass road going through one leg to ensure that she won't fall over. I've employed magnets to help make the heads swappable. You can see this in action in this video (set to start at the specific timecode): Quote
