there seems to be a few fmp toys coming soon, and theres already a revoltech figure already released. I think Alter is bringing out a action figure of abalest as well. if the scale and sculpt is right then i may consider buying some.

Not much into this series but I like these little figures. Gashapon style figures with lots of articulation. They look like cheap fun! I wonder how tall they are.

Wow, didn't notice those. Very cool. I'd love to get the Chidori with the Fan, a Teletha (either one), and Chidori's friend with glasses, but I don't really recognize the others? And where's Mao!!! How could they put in those random characters and forget her??? But then again, paying $70+ to get mainly Chidori and Teletha is a no go for me. I'll just have to watch for someone to sell these individually. Luckily there are two Chidori's and Teletha's per set so that's a likely scenario. Mondai nai!!!

Apparently HLJ had these up for pre-order at some point, but it's "order stop" at the moment.

I wonder if they'll come pre-painted or not? I'm also not entirely sure these are the figures mentioned earlier, but the price is about right and the inner upper leg is hollow like the ones mentioned before.

Just noticed these are up for early bird in case anyone wants to order them. I still want some, but I just can't see paying that much for the three figures I want out of the 8 (though 2 are variations of Chidori and Teletha).

If anyone gets a set of these and is selling spares (or figs they don't want), PM me plz. :D

The Bandai Robot Side Arbalest was released. Any reviews?

http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN957320

Or does anyone know how the Robot Damashii line is in general?

P.S. - Glad I have 2 weeks to pay for it. Maybe the yen exchange rate will be better within 2 weeks b/c my 4005Yen order is $45.76 on Paypal!!! Yikes!!!

That thing is the same size as a revoltech. I'll wait for the Revoltech ARX-7 to come out before I decide which one I want to get.

Honestly, I like the sculpt of the Revoltech one better. But unfortunately the Revoltech one doesn't come with shoulder parts to complete the Lambda Driver mode look and this one does. Then again, the Revoltech SHOULD be cheaper than this one. If only Revoltech was making shoulder parts they'd have my money hands down. But I'm hoping that the Bandai one isn't junk and I have no clue how that line of toys has been from them?

Not sure about the shoulder parts but the pic here provided by GITS SAC shows the back parts for the lambda driver transformation.

Now if they made the mouth holding the knife bit like the Robot Spirits one that would be cool...

Just got my Robot Damashii ARX-7 Arbalest and all I can say is :D. The thing is wonderful. I'm sure the Revoltech might be more poseable, but this one can make some pretty awesome poses from the show. It is gorgeously detailed. The paint apps are top notch IMO (at least on mine). The joint systems are just right and make it pretty much show accurate. Neat little extras to keep any fan of the show satisfied too, plus all the parts to go into Lambda Driver mode (which so far the Revoltech version lacks shoulder pieces from what I've seen).

All in all, a great figure. For my first Robot Damashii figure, I'm very happy with it and the thing didn't cost a fortune either.

Any FMP fans gotten thmselves one of Aoshima's 1/48 'Master grade lite' style plastic kits?

http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS04398

They're a decent size and price, look pretty good bar needing a bit of paint to finish them properly and they've already done two M9's with a third on the way (featuring the flightpack) and have started planning an Arbalest. B))

Just a little bump.

Received today the Robot Damashii M9 Gernsback Mao and M9 Gernsback Kurz. These things are 110% awesome. Don't let the "mostly plastic" fool you, they are a BILLION times better than anything Revoltingtech. Paint apps are top notch, features are killer, and they are very posable. Construction is mostly ABS and POM so they're surprisingly sturdy with no Gashapon disease in sight. Lots of neat gimmicks, like the Kurz-type has a collapsing sniper rifle with functional bipod and removable magazine, it folds up to fit in a nice crate that attaches to the Gernsback's hip or the rifle can be attached straight to it's back. It also includes a smaller rifle also with a folding bipod and removable magazine that can be clipped to the Gernsback's waist. The Mao type comes with a different rifle with a removable magazine, a rocket launcher and a sword and sheath. Both have tons of hands as well.

Now I'm just waiting for the Arbalest to come off backorder and the M9D Falke to be released. These Robot Damashiis are very nice :D

To be quite honest, I have the Arbalest and think the M9 figures look better. Arbalest is a great RD figure, however the M9's have more weaponry, and unique sculpts so I think they look better. The Arbalest was one of my first 2 RD figures and it feels so much higher in quality than an MSiA! figure. I just wish it was as articulated as the 7 Swords Gundam(which I bought alongside it).

Wayyyyy better than MSiA for sure. Much less PVC, thank goodness. They're like everything good about an HCMPro and an MSiA combined together.
