"Hobby Robot" needs Battroid treatment!

Kyosho debuted a Hobby Robot prototype at a trade show not too long ago. The video shows the robot going through some fairly sophisticated manuevers, driven by a wireless video game console.

Now we need to make a body kit to resemble a battroid. Heck, it's Kyosho and should be a natural for customization.

If the cost is a fraction of an unobtanium road bike, I'll plunk for this toy.

I'd like to see a destroid, Gasarake or gundam exterior for such a tubby design(Kampfer, Geara Doga or EZ-8).

I could easily see a near future version of this bot being given more lithe proportions for just such applications as customized VF battroids.

I think it would look good as an armslave from FMP! An EZ8 would look cool as well. It kinda reminded me of that water mobilesuit (the big brown one in 8th ms team that almost kills the chick) Interesting how they made it jump. Doesn't look like it would be that tough to manufacture parts wise. Maybe they should sell it as model kit to lower costs. I like the leg design but hate the feet.

It's still a prototype, most of the joints seem directly articulated by r/c servos. The possibilities are there to make it any size the builder chooses so long as there's enough power. Keeping it garage-floor size is just "convenient" for the hobbist. Hijack the software and stabilityware!
