I found this little toy store in Akihabara, Japan a few days ago that had a pile of these for about 3000 yen.

They also had a 1/48 Roy for about 8000 yen and a 1/48 VF-1J with fastpacks for 9500 yen. I didn't buy any because I had just enough for my train (160 yen left after buying man-crap all day) back to Shinjuku. By the time I got back, the 1J with fastpacks was gone, and so was the Roy.

its kind of funny because a lot of members here have mad dups of this toy as well as the rest of the mac+ stuff. i assume they hold it down for a while to sell whenever it hits a new high on ebay. if you see something you own on ebay and its sold for $200, and you paid $80, what would you do? me, i'd sell.
