Wave, B-Club, Yellow Submarine, TECT, Hobby Base Retppu & Studio Half Eye have all released YF-19 resin garage kits in various scales. Sadly these kits are long out of production. Personally, I think the Wave 1/100 scale YF-19 battroid mode kit was the best of the bunch.

There is presently no manufactuer making a YF-19 battroid mode model in either resin or plastic.

If you live in Japan or Hong Kong, you may still be able to track down these kits in some of the specialist hobby shops. If not, your best bet is either Ebay or you can try PMing MW members Blackaces, Monkey-N or Neova as they all offer a service to track down older kits for members.

Hope this helps

Graham

Hi all,

I don't mean to sound like a cheap skate, but are they all gonna be that xspensive...?? Could someone possible make a cast of one of theirs and sell a set to me??? I wish I could say you might see a return on several made, but sadly I doubt it.....:(......

Give Noel (aka Blackaces) a PM, i think he has some other variants at his store.

A completed plastic model or resin kit will even bump up the price twofold if not more!

Another option would be the Yamato made YF-19 or 19A toys.

I guess you don't know much about casting but that would cost more than the model itself.

Not to be rude but this isn't exactly a hobby for someone looking for an inexpensive way to pass the time or an inexpensive way to start a collection.

The people around here shell out hundreds of dollars for the models they want, I've shelled out thousands.

Yep all completely true. Collecting out of product Macross resin kits (something I'm just getting back into) is a pretty expensive hobby. Fun tho :D

e_jacob77,

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I desperatley want a battroid of the YF-19. I've decided on the altering my 1/72 Yamato toy since it's in 1/72 and so is my Hasegawa kit of the fighter mode. After I saw the gallery of the toy mods here, I decided that was I was going to do.
