https://www.forbes.com/sites/olliebarder/2023/01/26/shinichiro-watanabe-on-making-cowboy-bebop-and-what-he-thinks-of-the-live-action-adaptation/ The interview covers the entirety of his career, but a good few paragraphs are dedicated to his M+ days.

I am trying to do a collection of these celshade eggplanes, this is my take on the YF-19, it is a shame that there is no YF-21

Hi folks, don't know how much of an interest there'd be in here but I thought i'd post it up anyway just in case - I recently finished up a 3D modeling project to make a Sharon Apple Virturoid that would be in scale with Bandai's figuarts figures (Sheryl Nome, Freyja, etc...), since I figured they'd never make one themselves (after all, she's "just a box"). It's a fun little display piece that can sit with figuarts figures or be a part of a Macross Plus display. If anyone wants one I've got it up on my Shapeways store. (If this is the wrong place to put this I'll move it, wasn't sure if the scratchbuild or sales section was more appropriate since I'm not selling any of these directly. I'm not looking to make mad $$ on these things, just wanted to share the fruits of my labors ) Shapeways store: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/quin-s-bin Phots by the incomparable Ian Reid - http://hardreturn.net

I don't write too often here, but this is directly linked to how often I get the opportunity to review Macross-related toys. I'm happy I managed to do something about this few days ago and created my video review of the GN-U Dou action figure line by Yamato, this time the VF-11B Thunderbolt. I hope you like this recording of mine

Hey fellas, I found this up for preorder in case any of you are as crazy about this as I am http://www.e2046.com/p/22702/ I ordered a couple. I also ordered the VF-2SS which I already own a copy of, and couldn't pass up the chance to own another.

https://youtu.be/KcVF0BHSDYg I decided to throw this together since Vapor wave and planes seem to be a trend these days. Have a little 19 and 21 love.

I'm talking physically, not personality-wise. I'm making this project http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=43932 of a more realistic approach to the YF-19, and the next thing in queue is to create Isamu himself. So I want to find good references for his face to make a realistic looking one, not Anime-like. I'm not too worried about the body because he'll be wearing his pilot suit. According to the Macross wiki, I need to find a fairly young (25 y/o, sorry Bryan Cranston!!) Japanese-European slim guy with angular features. I wouldn't worry about the hair because only God knows how the hell I'm going to do that in Blender. Height183 cm Weight69.7 kg Hair ColorBrown Eye ColorBrown Age24;Plus Birth DateMarch 27, 2015 NationalityJapanese/European I think the easiest thing is to find male models, not only because that guarantees plenty of shots from different angles to get a precise sculpture, but because they usually look like douchebags in photos and I want that smirky know-it-all attitude. Some Japanese feature would be awesome since he's supposed to be of a mixed race. Any help would be thanked!!! We could run a thread on other proposals for the rest of the Macross saga if you want!! (Zero, SDF1, Macross II, 7, Frontier, Delta!) To get the ball rolling, I found this guy on Google Images, Japanese athlete Koji Murofushi (right)

Recently I have one of the members here introducing me to legos and then I branched into nanoblock due to the costs and space required, any way I wanted to share my work and take any suggestions for new models. Also I would like to know if there are other people in this fandom

Hi, All, I had an old wave resin kit recently painted by a highly professional kit builder, Dave Tarron (UK based). He does excellent work, is very responsive, and exemplifies professionalism. If you're interested in his work or would like to have something commissioned, you should check him out. You can check out some of his work here: http://rageofachilles.deviantart.com/ PM me if you are interested in contacting Dave Tarron. Kind regards, Tom

Hi Guys... long time without upload new build pictures! Well, 2014 was a very busy year to me: Finally I got a House, so almost all my free time went to it But little by little I'm getting more time to the hobby, so finally I finished the YF-21. It has the option to go with the cockpit open or closed. Hope do you like it!

I've been working more with hand-sculpting lately, and I decided my next project would actually be macross related, which of course means I share it here. I've really only just started, but I'll be sharing WIP shots as I go. Since I love enemy mecha far more than is probably healthy, I decided hell with it and am going for the gold, starting out with the unamed Zentreadi battlesuit from the first episode of Plus. Still a lot of refining to go, and of course this is just the first part, but my plan is for it to eventually be a full scale 1/60-ish piece. Let me know what you guys think!

Latest addition to my completed collection. A 1/72 scale VF-11B Thunderbolt, from Hasegawa, plus a 1/72 resin booster set from the Club M release of same. The Club M release also came with the Super Packs, so that's why I used the boosters on this one. As usual, more to be seen here.
