  1. Hey all, This is me offering a third possible re-release of my 1/48 crab line of models for your consideration: the Blueberry Crab (Inbit Gamo doppleganger) As with previous offerings, I would need a 10-order minimum (payable up-front) to kick the project off. If you're interested, let your typing fingers fly! Basic kit price per crab: $205 CAD (about $165 US) -Price per kit shipped (US/Canada): $240 CAD -Price for 2 kits shipped (US/Canada): $461 CAD -Price per kit shipped (international): $263 CAD
  2. Hi, I am new to the forums. Just completed my old Bandai VF-25F Alto custom that I had for awhile now and would like to share it with you guys for some feedback. This kit is very time consuming and there is a lot of work that is needed to be done (lots of decals and panel-lining). The end product is great but the kit itself is very fragile and the fit between pieces isn't too good. Every time I move it, it feels like something might break apart (I already broke 2 minor parts). Also, the waterslide decals which are brittle themselves already are always rubbing against each other which may cause them to tear Especially the decal on the battroid's head). Therefore, I decided that I will not risk transforming it and just leave it in gerwalk mode. The gerwalk mode's movements especially around the legs are very limited and cannot extend too wide apart which was pretty disappointing. Other than that it looks great!
  3. Hi guys! As promised, I am putting forth the final pitch to gauge interest in a 1/48 Mospeada Legioss soldier mode (hereinafter referred to as Buster: Henshin Robo) resin model to accompany the Crabb army which I made a little while ago. I would also make all three head variations: Blue, Green and Red to allow for more versatility in the collection. Kit would be free-pose type (build it in the desired pose only) although certain joints will allow for minimal re-posing. Decals and markings: I will do the artwork, which I will then offer as open-source so that you can download and print as you see fit. This is going to be quite a bit more of an undertaking than most of my previous models, simply by virtue of its geometric complexity so you'd be looking at a $292 Canadian price-point (about $222 US) plus shipping. I would need a minimum of 30 orders to get the ball rolling so ask yourselves: is Buster right for YOU?
  4. Hi All, I got a couple of questions for you professional kit builders out there, and I'd kindly appreciate some help. I got a painted resin kit that is completed, but the darn think chips so easily. Is there a sealer I could use to ensure that the kit doesn't experience further chipping? Is there a specific type of paint or procedure during the painting process I should know about to make sure that the paint is locked in? Many thanks.

    YF-21

Hi Guys... long time without upload new build pictures! Well, 2014 was a very busy year to me: Finally I got a House, so almost all my free time went to it But little by little I'm getting more time to the hobby, so finally I finished the YF-21. It has the option to go with the cockpit open or closed. Hope do you like it!

Aqueous Macross Color Set 3 Destroid Defender. Aqueous Macross Color box in comparison to 1/72 Defender kit box. The 1/72 Defender was actually my first ever Macross kit, so the paint set makes a nice companion piece.

  8. From the album: Personal Macross Kits

Aqueous Macross Color Set 3 Destroid Defender. The three little jars seem like they would barely have enough paint for the job. Oddly enough, each jar has no label or unique marking. You get a sheet of them to apply yourself - 1, 2 & 3. Hopefully you're not color-blind! My sample's base medium had migrated out of the lid of each jar, collecting like dried amber inside the box. One jar is actually tightly glued into the box.

Aqueous Macross Color Set 3 Destroid Defender. Vintage water-based acrylic paint set for Imai & Arii Destroid Defender kits. I had wondered about these sets for a long time, so I bought a dried-up but unused set cheaply via eBay.

  12. 2013 wasn't my most prolific year, but I neves stops to build kits. This is my last model, the Hasegawa's Elintseeker. Not much to say, always is a great pleasure to build a Hase kit. About the weathering, I prefer not to make it in fighters, I like to see them in pristine condition. In the last picture, I tried to get the same angle that the Tenjin drawing. Thank you for watching!
  13. I finaly finished my first model ever, I hated the pink parts of the model so I decided to paint it matte black, and gun metal. In some parts the paint chiped or scratched after the final assembly and first transformation, and yes I clear coated a few times but still... over all I think It´s a good model and fun to build, but some pieces don't fit to well, making the transformation a pain, specially in jet mode, the shoulder area never stays where it should. hope you like it, here are some quick pics in jet mode.
