  1. https://www.eonline.com/news/995143/the-first-images-of-netflix-s-carmen-sandiego-are-here#photo-963839 First pics about new animated series. And yes, she's an anti-hero now...
  2. Netflix continues to drop the big news for their upcoming slate of anime titles, from the return of Neon Genesis Evangelion to the likes of 7SEEDS. But now the streaming service have announced another big series from a well-known franchise. In a collaboration between studios Production I.G and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS, they have announced plans for a new Ghost in the Shell project, currently titled Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 which is set for worldwide distribution in 2020. Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) & Shinji Araki (Appleseed) are confirmed to be working on the project. No other news has been revealed as of yet.
  3. Evangelion, the legendary series that shocked the world, returns to Netflix! The 26 episode series that started it all, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and the two feature films The End of Evangelion & Evangelion: Death (True)2, will stream exclusively on Netflix from Spring 2019!
  4. https://www.ign.com/articles/2018/09/18/new-live-action-avatar-the-last-airbender-series-coming-to-netflix Wow. I feel both great hope and great dread. Which will win out in the end?
  5. This isn't breaking news but it IS something I'm looking forward to. with a ton of creative talent , and the budget Netflix can bring forth, I am expecting all 10 episodes to satisfy. I just hope the writers they've chosen can pull it off..
  6. Anyone catch this on Netflix yet? It's loosely based on the Castlevania III NES video game. The characters got some nice depth and backstory to each of them, and the series upped the gore factor by about 1000 percent (Considering Dracula raises an army from the bowels of hell, those demons do some pretty graphic killings). The only con is that this first "season" is ridiculously short (clocking in at only 4 episodes long). But it's a really good series that I'm intrigued to see more of.
  7. What if you had the power to decide who lives and who dies?
  8. Coming to Netflix on February 8, 2016 is Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, the sequel to the 2000 martial arts epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The film is directed by Yuen Woo-ping, who is best known for his fight choreography in The Matrix and Kill Bill. Michelle Yeoh reprises her role as Yu Shu Lien. Also starring are Donnie Yen (Ip Man), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike Chang in Glee) and Jason Scott Lee (Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story). Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny @ IMDb
  9. Do we have a thread already? I'm kinda excited about the casting of Vincent D'onofrio as the Kingpin! http://comicbook.com/2015/03/02/first-look-at-vincent-donofrio-as-the-kingpin-in-daredevil/
  10. Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I did not see it. Netflix is bringing this title to the US? (or did they pay to have it made?). Looks interesting from the trailer. If Netflix follows their normal pattern I'll be binging on this on July 4th... http://www.blastr.com/2014-6-26/1st-trailer-netflixs-new-sci-fi-anime-knights-sidonia-awesome
  11. So I recently made a thread for Arrow on CW, but I just gotta make another. I believe we're in the golden age of TV, we're finally at the point when we are getting truly quality performances and stories on both basic and premium cable, there's literally something for everybody. So how about Hannibal? This is yet another series that's been blowing my mind for two seasons now, easily the most graphic and disturbing show on television, I find every episode to be pretty excellent. There are some really incredible performances throughout, Mads Mikkelsen is pretty much my favorite Hannibal since Anthony Hopkins horrified people in Silence of the Lambs, as a long time fan and reader of the Red Dragon novels I've got even more to love. Another fantastic episode tonight, the situation Graham has found himself in is hard to watch but you know there's more there than we're seeing, Hugh Dancy also absolutely dominating his role as the tormented Will Graham. My DVR is full, I've got something recorded almost every night, but I always find myself looking forward to Friday night Hannibal.
