    Well its been no secret he's been pushing for homoerotic content since he was chosen as Bond, but this film also embodies his anti gun feelings that "only cowards use guns" and how he is constantly disposing of his PPK through the whole film.

    Its garbage. The thing you posted says its an anime news network article, but the last time ANN mentioned Robotech in news was the Agrama conviction. I don't think this is the first time I've seen this rumor.

    You know, I find myself agreeing with you more and more lately. I personally think Machete would have been an awesome movie if they never went with the white man immigration cheesefest and just focused on him staying in Mexico getting revenge on the cartel that tried to kill him punisher style. Hell that priest assassin novella thing on King of the Hill would have made a better movie than Machete.

    The change was done to invoke thoughts of the U.S. carrier fleet from WWII(only this time Japan wins!!!), and that ship design isn't base on the JU-87 Stuka, but the U.S. TBM/TBF Avenger torpedo bomber that had a role in sinking the original IJN Yamato.

    I'm trying to get Discotek Media to get the rights to it. Odds are pretty good for it considering they just liscensed the original Mazinger series. Feel free to drop by their facebook page to lend another voice to the cause. They actually seem to listen to requests which is why we got Madbull 34 and Venus Wars dvds.

    I remember the pigs in space skits from the muppet show, and how muppet babies had entire episodes dedicated to it, but what I meann is an entire film like Muppet Treasure Island or Muppet Christmas Carol.

    In a way its hard for me to view Alec as a true evil villan or bad guy. Unlike most of the other Bond enemies he had a damn good reason for everything he did. As a Cossack his people in light of the purges post revolution viewed the soviets as the greater evil fought for the germans in WWII. At the end of the war the British gathered them up man, woman, and child into prison camps for repatriation, something the Cossacks knew was certain death. At Lienz the British met with camp leaders and lied to them that they were all going to a conference with top ranked leaders. When they found out what was really going on they resisited and were then fired apon, beaten, and forced into trains before being turned over to the Soviets who promptly started executing them within earshot of the British. What makes it worse for Alec is his family survived the ordeal fleeing to England where his father out of grief and survivors guilt snapped and in a homicidal rage killed everyone in his family before killing himself leaving Alec an orphan. In light of this I really can't blame him for wanting to take revenge on the two countries that destroyed his life. His hatred of Bond comes from him resetting the facility bombs from 5 to 3 minutes blowing half his face off, and the fact that he's an unquestioning lap dog.

    It was originally written as a low budget script sequel ordered by Lucas should Star Wars not do well at the box office. It is in fact the earliest EU work if you don't count the original marvel comics.

    So do you need a working knowledge of Japanese to order from these .co.jp sites? I want to pick up the three episode AIKa Zero blu-ray now that bandai has crap the bed in the states making a domestic release look all but impossible.

    That's the plot of the shitty New Jedi Order books. The novels went to hell after del rey got the publishing rights from bantam, and started killing off character's left and right for little more than shock value.

    The shuttles move to New York has already been a disaster having suffered water damage when they decided to be cute and float it up the Hudson unprotected, and now this. I don't give a damn about the museum being an aircraft carrier, most of the frames on that deck are very rare and should NEVER be exposed to the elements. The shuttle would be better off moved inside the New England Air Museum at Windsor Locks CT. Either that more preferably the USAF museum.

    Well I thought about and I did find one issue with this sale to Disney, it could kill Dark Horse comics. The SW comics are its bread and butter, its biggest sellers, but Disney already has its own comic company with Marvel. I don't see it ending well. Either DH gets bought out by Disney or loses its license and slowly dies.

    Word of advice keep building satalites, even if you don't have the uplink or nexus for them. They take forever to build so stockpiling while you can saves time.

    This is true. Like I touched upon in the Prometheus thread plot wise there is almost no difference between it and King Kong. Powerful guy finances a ship to sail to a mysterious place no one has ever been using an old cryptic map for his own special reason. Once there he discovers ancient ruins, doesn't find exactly what he's looking for, everything is hostile, and crew starts dying. Powerful man finds something else, tries to control it, and chaos ensues. Big beast obsessively chases main girl, ends up dead after getting distracted by other enemy. Main girl survives more or less all alone. The End.

    Reading into Silvio Berlusconi's previous legal troubles, and apparently in Italy it DOES work that way. Twice he was convicted and was set free during appeal due to statute of limitations.
