Sub. Bad voice acting grates on my ears. In Japanese I can't tell if it's good or bad therefore it's all good. Plus English voice actors can't get the screaming part right.

Warhawk is fun for instant online mayhem. Choose the right server or start your own and it's pretty lag free. Motorstorm is great for dirty off road racing fun. Walmart Warhawk deal....isn't one. I'm thinking they mispackaged my box with 2 headsets since all other sites I've found online only mention 1 headset per box. Controls seem easy enough, very similar to fLOw which I found very intuitive and easy. Maybe the reviewer is just a ham-handed idiot. Yup my box had 2 earpieces. Don't ask me why but it did.

I got mine from Walmart. Comes with 2 Bluetooth earpieces.

Actually not true. The old encryption algorithm that was used on both HD and BD was cracked back Jan/Feb of this year. BD+ was announced in June. I haven't seen news of it being cracked yet. Better format? Debatable. Better interactive bonuses? Can't argue there becauce BD-J hasn't been implemented yet until standard 1.1 or 1.2 I believe. Oh please. There's just as many crap titles released by HD-DVD oriented studios as there are for BluRay. Go to Highdefdigest and sort by Star Grade quality. On both HD format lists 50% of titles scored 3 stars or less.

I'd add Predator and Bladerunner and that'd be my list So Indiana is still BluRay? Screw TF's then. The DVD movies that I'll re-buy in HD format are still Bluray.

PS2 was my first DVD player and I was the only person in my group to have one except for one friend who had 3 dvd players(Apex dvd player was one. He's the 6-month must upgrade AV/computer stuff type guy. Just asked him what he paid for his DVD players during that time period and he said $200-$330cdn. (this was when the US:CDN exchange rate was $1:0.66). Seeing how the PS2 was $400 and a dvd player it was a pretty damn good deal....and my launch PS2 still works fine.

Well...it happened somewhere. Were they Walmart brand DVD players or brand name(Sony, Pioneer, Panasonic..etc)? Can't find links to prices of DVD players in 2000 but according to this Wired article the Apex AD-600 was $179usd in 2000 and the Panasonice DV 525(mid range) was $350usd in 1999. http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/2000/04/35365

Bad for us. As far as I can recall HD player prices are already dropping apace to when DVD players originally came out. VHS was king and DVD was expensive new media. PS2 forced the price down and helped start mainstream adoption of DVD. Microsoft is backing Universal to extend the HD format war so that it confuses or frustrates people enough to instead of buying physical HD media to start using their download HD video service. So instead of buying a HD disc loaded with features that will play in your HD player from your local store you'll have to pay MS to download the movie, pay for a high-bandwidth line, pay for electricity to leave your computer on to download said video and you'll probably have to pay for the extra features as well.
