All NMC carriers have hands with articulated fingers, Battle Frontier included. I seem to recall that Quarter has a hand too in the arm with the flight deck, it uses to support its main cannon when firing.

Given that I don't recall hearing her anywhere else, I can only assume that means that rendition of Aimo is part of the medley. So based on VA... not Minmay, but I doubt it was Ranshe either. My guess is it was the Vajra themselves. The queen in episode 14 borrowed her voice as well.

Believe that in Zero the AFOS is determined to be aproximately 10.000 years old, indicating that a very small number of PC could still have been around by then.

I take it you mean the original macross vessel since you mention ASS1. ASS1 actually only refers to it pre-restoration. Once rebuilt it's not called ASS1 anymore, but SDF-1 Macross. That's the only definition I know, (not counting "Ship of alus" from Macross II).
