    It is a bit of a disappointment that with all these races we miss Human-Zentradi first contact with them like when they surprised us with the Zolans. I wouldn't mind a OVA series where UN Spacy send ships to find and contact other Miclone races.

    The YF-29B which was used by Havamal was produced by Earth's Nova Industry. Thing is if the craft is still at the experimental stage data can be withheld from NUNS HQ. However if it is to go through mass production you'd have to share the data. SMS Ouroboros director Aisha Blanchett built the YF-30 on her own. Given it is 7 years after with the VF-31 she eventually shared the data for a mass production version. If we go by the VF-19ADVANCE of Isamu it can compete with the VF-25. And Earth is weary of exporting parts of the VF-19A to fleets.

    Macross has a consistent internal mechanics. Not until Macross Frontier came with Macross Chronicle explaining it is all consistent. Sara powers include healing and regenerative properties like Basara's Song Energy. Song Energy is a type of Fold Wave. Song Energy and Spiritia come from the same subspace where all life is connected. Presumably Biological Fold waves is the Spiritia of a person. The entry on Shrine maidens state that only a few has Space Time Resonance ability among humans as they lost it due to the Protoculture's genetic manipulation. Turns out Shrine Maiden's purpose was maintenance of the Bird Human. We already did with Sara Nome. In her despair she was about to sing the Song of Death. Coincidentally in Macross II the Song of Death by Emulator cause Zentradi to commit kamikaze attacks. What makes Protoculture advanced bio weapons indestructible is their regenerative functions. With the Protodevlin they suck out Spiritia or Biological Fold Waves from their victims to regenerate. The Bird Human regenerates with the Song Energy provided by its pilot. The pilot should have Space-Time Resonance ability to do it. On another note in Macross 7 and Macross 30 Zentradi go berserk being near Protodevlin/Evil Series. So a possible connection.

    Using the Gamlin-Basara relationship as a guide Mirage would likely have frustrations with the insufferable genius but eventually Hayate will earn her respect and she'll learn to loosen up as well as improving her own piloting skill.

    Well my impression of Mirage is that she is essentially a gender bent Gamlin.

    Known enough for trade and technology exchange. Those apples come from Windermere and is an export. Their overtechnology shared by humans. The way I see it the Aerial Knights are biting the hand that feeds them.

    I can see now with the regular broadcast version why Kawamori said Mirage is Miranda's daughter given the hair color.

    Well that is the rule till subs are out given the new footage. Oh subs are out. I must say Freyja is a very powerful space-time resonance singer to project that to Hayate. Then again given his rhythm and fold quartz pendant he was bound to sense it. I can CQC never seen before used by Valkyries. Mikumo and Arad see potential recruits in the two.

    Here is something I just realized Windermere identifies with the Wind where as Ragna identifies with Water. Chuck being from Ragna having fins and gills and all. Themes we've seen before in Macross Zero with the legend of the Bird Human and the Fish Human. We know how the story went they got together. Which makes me wonder if we'll see our first non-Human hybrid in this series.

    From what I remember with M7 Encore and M7 Plus she isn't. She did German supplex a Meltradi opponent in M7 Plus they were fighting in the middle of nowhere on a middle of nowhere planet. Veffidas is like Kenshiro fighting thug after thug. In M7 Encore she beat her suitor in a fight who confesses while he lies on the ground. This was when she was still a giant and first saw Basara.

    While watching Kung Fu Panda 3 of all things an idea came to my head concerning Veffidas. From what we know before Veffidas joined the Macross 7 Fleet is that she was a martial arts fighter. Going by her Macross 7 Plus clip she was on this Zentradi planet fighting bear handed against other fighters. No sign of guns whatsoever. In Macross 7 Encore episode on the origins of Fire Bomber Veffidas when she was still a giant fought her suitor whon is also a martial artist. Now the first general exposure of culture to Zentradi is Minmay and her movie Shao Pai Long which is a Kung Fu movie. At first Vrilithwai and Exsedol thought Humans had super natural powers watching it. What if instead of being lured by civilian life some Zentradi liked the life of a martial artist? Zentradi are soldiers what some chose to live a life of warrior instead? Hence what we see on Veffidas' past. Being inspired by a Kung Fu movie.

    Well the relationship between Zomeo and Zuliet is soap opera-ish. He is a rich prince like guy from outside the country who knows little of Zola, Zoliet is his maid that falls in love with. Tragedy being even they do get married they can't have babies or so the writers would want us to believe. All for the drama. Much like Macross Zero's Mayans the Zolans are losing their tribal traditions. To the point they don't know there is a large Whale graveyard on their planet. There are Zolans who support Lactence's pro-Earth stance and that is a bit disturbing. But I guess them losing tribal tradition was before they even met the humans. I guessing Macross Delta would be dealing with the consequences of humanity mingling with alien races. Only Macross II and various micro-continuities such as games. The main timeline continuity is treated as meta-fiction.
