Well, you have to admit Minmay was a pivital character in Macross whether we like it or not. So technically, this set of CMs dedicated to her would be a tribute. I mean this girl put the Zentradi to their knees, had Zentradi defect, and turn the tide of the battle in SW1. But on the flipside, I would like to see more characters. Need to get the SDFM series into this...

Actually, Peguin is right. I thought the minmay on desk was different. Also, it is me or the face sculpts looking better than before? Can anyone post the last 3 sets of CMs for comparison?

Well, yes it is an addiction. One thing is this: Macross is one of my favorite past times. Well GI Joe and TFs are a close 2nd. I am getting my toys before I get hitched . I will have to slow down soon... I need to buy a home. EDIT: I never look to my toys as investment. Why? You will get disappointed. So if I can sell my toys for more, great. But that is if I need to eat or my family needs it. So you are correct, I get this for sentimental reasons.

Well so far I am surviving. Now to look for a house. My haul: 12 Stealths Strike, 4 VF-0S, and 8 LV2. Key is that I am selling stuff I dont want anymore.

Technically, those fools at Robotech.com think the MPC is da bomb... Of course some are disgruntled like me. I discovered the 1/60 25th Anniversary CF released by TRU Japan. I then got the DYRL 1/60s. I saw the 1/48s and saw how much they were going for so I decided to skip them. Then I saw the MPCs. Like an idiot, I was trying to get them but they got sold out at RT.com but I went to another place. Once it did come out, you cannot believe the disappointment on my face. They were subpar compared to the 1/60s. Then when the LV came out. I decided that this is the 1/48 to get thus leading to my fracking 106 1/48s. Since then I only collected 1/48s. Ok enough of my story... back to the question at hand. Yes, it is going like hotcakes on ebay. They made the MPCs in limited numbers. Do not forget that some of the MPCs are broken as well so the limited numbers maybe smaller since some of those broken MPCs are trashed and what not. Once the MPCs go that high, I *may* just sell my MPC set. I sold my extras for a tidy profit a while back but now I wished I didnt but at the time I was pissed at Toynazi..err Toynami (That's it!). I completely converted to the 1/48s to probable disappointment to the collectors here since there is a scarcity of 1/48s like the original LV (some ppl blame me but I think they need to blame Lord Kungfu). People on RT.com have no clue about Macross Yammies and some do know but refuse to buy them because they are loyal to RT since they did make the Alpha and Beta but that may be my speculation.

I have the 1/60s displayed in my office. I also have my 1/18 f-18 hanging in my office as well. Master Chief and some diecast planes sits on my desk. Everyone likes to come in and see my toys.

I like Jessica. Although she isnt showing off her assets like Taylor, Jessica's face is attractive. I agree they were done up like Glamour shots. Still IMHO, I think they are pretty (Jessica more so). Hot? No but still I would go out with them...

Uhhhhh, I still havent sold my joes. I will not sell my Macross stuff unless I am in need of money or my wife makes me sell the extras. I am still saving and I am not married, so I am good for now. Then again, I have a price... that price is that you better be Warren Buffett. Macross (AKA Robotech), TFs, Star Blazers, and GIJoe is what I grew up on. I can never turn my back on it.
