I'd love to show some pics....and just caveat they are a modded kit. I like people to see what they could do. Anyone know if he's a MW member? Anyone know him to ask personally? Anyone know of other people who have built some of the BClub kits? I'd love to put some finished work up there. Also...any of you who have the kits send me a quick 2 sentance review for some of them for feedback. I'd love to start a list of peoples opinions. I have most of the Bclub stuff, but i didn't want it to be just me writing in! Finally...anyone who has Sivil, Minmei, Mylene, I would love some better scans if anyone has them. THANKS!

My son and I watched Robotech when he was about 5. He loved the mecha, story, and action. We watched on weekends over about 6 months. At 6, I started showing him other Macross...first ones in English (Mac Plus...minus the bad scenes... ) The subtitled ones we watched in small segments with me reading him the dialogue. He's almost 9 now...loves them, and reads the subtitles himself. While Robotech is a "no no" here...it was a good, safe easy starting point. As for Toys...My son has destroyed several morphers, VF1 Boots...a Takatoku 1/55 VF1S, and some Bandai 1/65 M7 toys. I found I am better off having some toys that are daddy's that he can ask to play with then giving them to him. On my lowest display shelf I have some 1/55's Exosquad Zentradi and Destroids, and the Bandai 1/65 M7 craft. He plays with them all the time...but since they are "mine" he doesn't throw them down the stairs or leave them outside.

Okay..here is the deal...I need some help for the models section (yep..yet more) My scanner isn't big enough for the large Hasegawa boxes. I can scan everything else, build the pages, and take the pictures of the parts..but I can't scan the entire box art. I tried scanning it in 2 parts and joining them...but it's not working as well as I would like. I could really use some help either A) with a good merge program (preferably freeware! ) B) some volunteers with a larger scanners to scan all the box covers for me. How about it...any of you model builders/collectors out there want to scan some box art for me? I'd love the scans at the highest resolution you can pull off. Interesting...do people keep more then 1 cup...or just go a little at a time?

question about gravity feed.... I can't imagine using it...but I think I don't understand it. Siphon is attractive because I mix all my paints, add the different colors to the airbrush and go. With the gravity feed system how do you switch colors? How much cleaning must you do? Thanks

Mike's answer is really the best one. I love the kit, but the detail is sparse for a Monster so huge. If someone took the time to build a new one, hollow, with more detail (maybe removable panels, lots of wires and guts etc) It would be a prime kit to have (IMO)

The Club M (IMO ) is definitly the best. The Musasiya I would rank 2nd, and the HB a close 3rd. I like the lines of the HB kit...and i might rate it 2nd if it were resin...but the vinyl is so soft I just know it will be a PITA to build. A resin copy would be the way to go, but I would stay away from MIM's version...I have heard nothing but bad things about them lately. All about profit, not quality.

I understand everyone's frustration with Tanmen more then anyone...still recasts are not a proper response to an artist...it's not fair, and I would hate Tanmen to refuse business to MW in the future because of things like that. He does want to be paid up front, but I would go to his website and email him for starters.
