  1. Perfect! Thanks! Agreed on Area Tanmen and also on Platz. (I think we have realized they didn't do Macross)
  2. I know he's working on the old boards, but I also think I have some of them saved if the old board isn't up by then. I just need to find the CD.
  3. Noel, Can you look at the kit maker list above and help me fill in blanks that I'm missing? Also, any chance your WF pics are still available for me to show completed kit displays for some of your rarer WF kits? THANKS
  4. No rush on pics. How does my model company list look?
  5. I agree...step by steps when available are a must.
  6. Prometheum - perfect. For now, just start by making a list of what you have and posting it here. Ill compare with what we have and you can start scanning the missing or low res stuff right away. When its ready Ill send you my email. Grayson - perfect...and the canopy masks would be great too! THANKS!
  7. There are a lot of pics already...and I'm going through what I can to figure out whats missing...which is why Ill probably take it one vendor at a time and which is why I have not listed all the old standbyes...ARII, IMAI, Bandai etc yet..I know we have alot) But, I do want more data then we have for some. All the box covers, and high res scans of the box art, instructions, kits, decals, etc. Start thinking about what you have that we are missing. Also...what model companies am I missing? 8. Recast will at least show us kit pictures, but I'd love to see original box art, decals, and instructions if they exist. This is a good start..but come on people...I need more. Step up to the plate. Ill even list your names as a thanks for the pics..how can you beat that? Enshrined in Macrossworld infamy!
  9. I wrote this in another thread, but I don't think people saw it. Starting with 1/72 scale....here we go (after this I still need to cover all the other scale items....Lets start making lists and getting volunteers! ) Just wanted everyone to know I have started working on redoing the models section in MW. It's still in the works, but Ill be looking for people who have some of the rarer kits who would be interested in helping us post content. For each kit I'd like to post: 1 Cover art (high res) 2 Instructions (complete) 3 Decals (high res) 4 Kit (pieces) 5 Completed kit photos (by MW members and particuarly well done ones from magazines (if we can...not sure on this...copyright and all)) 6 Feedback/Reviews (looking for more of the Amazon 1 Paragraph here) So... A) how does this sound? B) I'm going to need help. Starting with the 1/72 scale lists I need a lot. If you have any of the items below and would be willing to scan the above items, or you have finished one and would be willing to share pictures please drop me a PM and Ill start a running list of what we need/have. I'm hoping to finish a couple sections a week. THANKS ALL! 10. Welcome back friend! Glad to see your back with us!
  11. Valkyrie - Excellent. I did a bit of the same. I am a bit nervous about whether we can post pictures of other peoples kits without their permission. If we can access sales information (public) that would be better, otherwise Ill run that question by Graham and Shawn. I guess, my opinion is as long as it's generic enough to not clearly be anyone persons kit we can probably use them. Ill be in touch. WMCheng. Thank you for responding. I was hoping you would allow us to use your work. I really love the idea of being able to look at a kit I want, and then glance through notes from people who have it, building tips, etc and finally see what other people have done with it. It's also everyones chance to be "famous" Be the first one to build one of these rare kits and get your finished model at the top of the completed model section. I'd also like to do a kit comparison section. Personally, (as an example) I bought: Wave 1/100 VF11 Battroid Reppu 1/72 VF11C Battroid Reppu 1/72 VF11 Fighter Club M 1/72 VF11 Fighter Honestly, I think I would have been happy with 1 "perfect" kit, but I couldn't tell the differences. These kits are so expensive it would be nice to show how they differ from each other and help perspective buyers figure out which version they prefer (ie.."I want the larger one, or I want the one with more panel lines, or I want the one that looks more cartoonish...etc" )

  13. Someday soon Ill have good pics of both up in the models section!
  14. Thanks. Ill send you my email addy if you find anymore.
  15. Okay...Ill do blue and clear. They will be $3 for the canopy and lightbar shipped in the US. Note in forsale.
  16. The Club M is all around smaller....a little smaller then the Yamato. The Reppu is larger then the Yammie and the Club M. The Club M is much closer to the Yammie in scale...(for what thats worth) I like the Reppu FP's better...but the Club M better otherwise.
  17. That would be great. Also, if you could scan any Macross specific pages for December we don't have any. THANKS! Jesse
  18. Damn IE cache will get you every time. Glad to be of service. On a side note, those are (I believe) the only ones Graham has, and he did not have the covers any more. Anyone out there have any of the ones we are missing who would be willing to send me scans of any good Macross content and or the covers of the issues we have? Thanks!
  19. Try refreshing your page. All three mags were updates (by me )about a week ago. Let me know if you don't see them.
  20. LOL...I wasn't actually making them to sell...but they are really easy for me to do a couple. Is blue or clear the color people would prefer?
  21. what a great idea...I never thought of casting it in clear. FUDGE! I don't have any crystal clear resin...but I have some clear stuff that takes tint well...maybe Ill try a couple yellow, blue, and red translucent bars out...news to come... Well...months later then I planned I finally got around to trying out some translucent resins. I try not to work with clears as the stuff will kill you (literally! ) but I have messed around tinting translucents...so heres my first few trys. I started out with a clear (thinking I could use a clear Tamiya paint to make it any color I wanted) and I think I like that best. I also tried tinting it blue, green, and yellow. Blue I would say is the next best. Green might be okay, but I need a lighter tint as it's overpowering the translucent. Just sharing what I did. and
  22. Wow...just amazing! Have you done any other work like this before you can share?
  23. Congrats Sean...and welcome to our sad little club!
