  1. I have seen this happen with resin that isn't mixed correctly or isn't mixed in its parts correctly before mixing (ie part A seperates in the container and isn't properly remixed before poyring part A) I agree with others...it's not salvageable....you will need a new piece. (sorry)
  2. By me! Cool, huh?!?! I want to build one now! (course...I guess I should finish a model before I start buying all the pieces for a full mech. )
  3. Looking really good! Nice work!
  4. Im suprised to hear about all your bubbles Kurt...I didn't think any kits went out with that many...the main body was too big to pressurize...but the only bubbles I saw were usually inside the wheel well and in the cockpit...both would be covered by detail parts. The rest of the kit normally seemed tight. (or reasonably so) Anyways...you did a fantastic job...sorry about the extra work. HWRMKII....glad yours isn't bad. Can't wait for more.
  5. This is awesome! Thanks to both you and HWR for the build ups....Ill be watching and trying to keep up. (I just gotta reorg my work space and I finally get to build some models!! ) WOO WHOO!
  6. Sweet! I can't wait for more!!!
  7. Also, very clean. I agree with LTSO, you may want to try thinning the paint a little. I am personally still working on getting better at the same problem. Cheers!
  8. Very very clean and sharp.
  9. I agree with Rangers sentiment. Lets not get hostile towards Nanashi. He's a very bright member with lots of good information to share with us. I'll probably forget if it's a missile or rocket soon, but it's nice to know there is someone amongst us who has the answers. I'm sure he would also agree with Ranger's sentiment, that it would be nice to have the pieces to make these kits more accurate. Cum-by-ya.
  10. This is great news! Anyone have any idea if HLJ will carry it? If not perhaps one of our members (Monkey Nugget, Seiichi, etc) would be able to get us a bunch?
  11. I really enjoyed the premier...and I love what they are doing with space combat...making it look more "real". When the viper torqued around on it's axis to fire I whooped out loud! Hope it keeps up. I'm a little nervous about the Baltar crap...the ongoing hes almost caught...and then not seems like it will get old.
  12. what a great idea...I never thought of casting it in clear. FUDGE! I don't have any crystal clear resin...but I have some clear stuff that takes tint well...maybe Ill try a couple yellow, blue, and red translucent bars out...news to come...
  13. There was a screen cap of one being tossed around inside a ship...I was thinking of building one working on a Hasegawa VF1....little diorama scene. You could suspend it from above with a wire to the base or you could lift it up from the bottom with an acrylic rod. Glad you like the kit. I agree...Joe put a stunning amount of detail into the little bugger.
  14. Looks good! Hardly noticable (at first glance) from the front. More noticable from the back, but still good.
  15. my bad...your correct. I can't believe I missed that!
  16. exactly my feelings...reminded me of Eva...to much art...not enough science and story.
  17. From what I can tell, no. Sadly. Yet, if I know Hasegawa...thats another version of the 0D they will be selling someday soon. (or at the least a decal set! )
  18. I love them...in fact it's my belief that my MG balls should be held every night.
  19. Man after my own heart...love WW2 aircraft. I want to build a super accurate Wildcat or Corsair someday (my two favorite WW2 aircraft)
  20. "Red, Right Coming" was a little saying I picked up when I flew. It means if you see the red light on the right the plane is coming at you (for night flying...assuming you can see the green...etc) Anyways...if you can remember that you can always figure it out.
  21. HUZZAH! I couldn't agree more...and anything that keeps WMCheng modeling is a good thing!!!
