Kensei bro, let me know how it goes! May have to get Rob to get the replacement parts for us in SG as none of the retailers here are willing or just waiting for news of an order to come in before they would commit.
-
got mine! lovely piece i must say...shoulders are nice and tight...but wouldnt dare risking twisting and turning it too much even though it is pom and nothing is certain as of yet
-
New pics of the VF-0A Shin Variant with Ghost Booster boxart and contents, would have to say that a better boxart could have been done, instead its just the same as that of the VF-0A boxart with different graphics. Hopefully the improvements are being done especially on the shoulders and forearms by reinforcing them in pom..meanwhile enjoy..

Great news, glad that i preorder the YF-19 with fold booster!
-
Great news! Graham, would yamato do a reissue of the VF-0S, preferably with ghost booster?
-
Attached are the new pics of the 1/144 Super HCM pro RX-78-2 and its packaging. Nice!! And more pics from the following link: http://ga.sbcr.jp/g-toys/46shizuoka/05/index.html

As the joint is made of diecast, im more concern with the circular joint that is connected to the diecast module, unless that is made of pom, im not sure whether would it be able to withstand the stress caused during transformation. Remember the similar shoulder problem seen in the VF-0S/A

Some additional pics from yamato blog: Interesting way to display the fighter..reminds me of one scene in MO when the SV51 are preparing for launch

Do agree with some points. Currently, yamato is the only company churning out highly detailed and beautiful transformable toys, which i must say its a remarkable and incredible feat of engineering. However many a times, i feel let down by the quality issues and design problems, which should have been rectified and scrutinize throughly before releasing the toy for mass production, especially when its a high end and expensive product. Bandai do also incorporate complex transformations in their line of soc combiners, but never once do their products have quality or design issues except for some loose joints. Same goes for takara transformers, both normal and masterpiece lines, at times do experience stress marks or loose joints but never plastic breakages. I just wish to say that as much as im willing to pay for a beautifully crafted, transformable toy designed by yamato, but i do hope that they would really put in the needed effort into examining the design and taking watever measures to reduce part/joint breakages, loose joints/fits etc than rushing to release a defective toy into the market.

Hi Graham, do please find out asap from yamato in rdgs to the fixes for the YF-19 giftset. tks
-
The last thing i need is a flashing, light up dildo. Actually the only thing im interested in the package are the FPS, otherwise i would be more than satisfied with a QC free YF-19. Noticed the stand for the SV-51 is quite similar to that which was bundled with ltd Zeta model kit
-
hurin, think you are referring to the 1/60 YF-19 with Fold Booster not the VF-0A shin variant as it comes with the Ghost booster. Im more for getting the SV-51 than that of the YF-19 giftset as it possesses reinforced transformation parts in the form of diecast and pom, as yamato has not released any solid news on the fixes for the YF-19, particularly on the neck hinge, gunpod and landing gear.

looks most excellent, wonders does CM sell the alpha fighter alone, as i wish to display one in battroid mode and the other in valkyrie mode with the tread. The mini cyclone armours and sword are a nice touch, wonder if they are prepainted as well?
-
kensei hush..now you give me the shudders...hopefully they are as strong as they look..which doesn't look that strong What im worried abt are the hinge joints..hopefully yamato do reinforce those areas in pom
-
call me a skeptic but im gonna to need confirmation on the transformation/locking pieces on the wings whether are those diecast parts and the hinge area, are they abs/pom plastic otherwise would have to sit this out till the next release, SV-51 Nora ver. Seems for the SV-51, yamato has incorporated alot of diecast parts especially for the transforming parts, which is a good sign. Hope this can be pass on to the VF-0A/S or the YF-19 as well. Altas, still have yet to hear from graham on the fixes for the YF-19 giftset, maybe i should consider skipping that too.

Some colors pics of the 1/48 alpha fighters from aoshima. From the description, it seems that Aoshima announced that they will be selling Toynami's Masterpiece Collection 「Alpha Fighters〠re-branded as 「1:48 Shin Seiki Gokin Legioss〠toys in Japan. The blue Eta, red Zeta, and green Iota will hit Japanese shelves in late July at a retail price of 10,290 yen each. Im still holding out for the alpha/beta set from CMS even though its more EX Some comparison pics btw the former toynami ver and the ver by aoshima. Seems no diff, but can expect lots of diecast coming from that of Aoshima *paint chip* ouch! http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/viewthread...;extra=page%3D1

Any info on this? Tks

Hi graham, Is there any news from yamato on the fixes for the 1/60 YF-19 for the upcoming giftset as so far we only heard that the shin VF-0A shoulders plastic is going to be changed from ABS to POM? Tks
-
Gosh, the colors are really distasteful, if yamato wishes to release something special for the 25th Anniversary 1/48 or 1/60, please do something thats nice and symbollic...for e.g. a minmay guard would be nice.

Excellent collection emerson! What makes it extra special are those minty takakotu!! Saw that you have the latest GFF #1001 Rx-78 Ver Ka added to your collection. -
Agree, hopefully we could also have a group buy for the asia continent.
-
Something like the egnima digital camo scheme would be nice, or even a black stealth version
-
Will be getting mine this Saturday, have dumped GFF due to poor paint job, QC sometimes. Hopefully they would do a MKII RX-78 Titans in the near future.
-
Tks for the badass pic graham! Are there any intake covers for the intakes? Damn those stands are nice, anyway of convincing yamato to release them as an individual stand, and are they suitable for the 1/48 VF-1, 1/60 VF-0 and YF-19? Oh yes one last question, did yamato express any interest in doing the nora variant, with the yellow markings tampoed on? Tks

The angelbird look okie but not for the VF-1J Millia...maybe the landing gear was attached in a incorrect manner. Anyways would be getting these for display in my office..*zoom* Zoom
