  1. One thing I noticed is that, based on gattai subs which translated even the credits, there is a Machida Masaya as CGI designer. As I thought FV
  2. Brera was fooling around at the time. When he got serious Klan was eliminated very quickly. Not probably: certainly. And he would have do it a second time, weren't he called back by Grace. He didn't do it exactly on purpose, he told Alto to move away. He was able to shot down other VF-27s, though. FV
  3. When someone is held hostage, you deal with the kidnappers first. FV
  4. Comunication gap. This is the theme in Macross F. Nice to hear Kawamori mentioning polygamy FV
  5. What if it wasn't? That is the limit of humanity, no, of all cultures derived from Protoculture. (ep. 6) According to gattai subs, it was never stated that Protoculture itself had the limit, it could just be that they didn't share with their "experiments". But if someone can give a better translation, I am here. FV
  6. "Moe" describes female characters who are very endearing. FV
  7. I broadened my perspective and noticed that, even if the final animation were to be rigged, how do you explain the last song was a new version of Triangler, where the lyrics were "whom do you kiss, me (Ranka) or me (Sheryl)?". If Alto made a choice, shouldn't we have a final song whose lyrics were something like "I love you, and only you"? This is one of the things the movie should correct Why, haven't you seen the real ending of Escaflowne? Maybe that was the reason why there was a similar color scheme in Bilra's Skull Squadron, and why he had so much trust in Alto More exactly, places where people lived without implants. She never meant to kill all humanity. FV
  8. Luca's ghosts used fold comunications. This was specifically mentioned in ep. 7. Prototype Fold Communication Guidance System, operational. With this we don't have to worry about the Vajra interfering with us. FV
  9. The difference is, as I told you, Sheryl's face in episode 24 is a closer shot than in ep. 25. Her head occupies the whole height of the screen in the screenshot of ep. 24, while it was only a third of the screen in the screenshot ep. 25. FV
  10. Post some screenshots if you want to get your point across. It's you who is trying to convince us, show some effort. Studying the video, when the shot is close enough there are tiny lighter spots on the cheek-bones, on the line of the nose, on the lower lip. I saw them even in the last minutes of Frontier. So no, there is nothing that is suggesting they got a worser treatment. FV
  11. In the scene you point to characters are drawn closer to the camera, using close shots. The lighting of the scene was also different. FV
  12. There is nothing wrong in the last minutes No bad animation, no sudden drop of quality, nothing. FV
  13. I did warn you guys. First, people who don't speak Japanese accuse everything of mistranslation citing as proof the lack of evidence of the contrary. Now, people doubt even what they see on screen because it could be manipulated somehow. Next, someone will assert Kawamori was going to have a Sheryl end but Megumi Nakajima fornicated with the animators so they forced Kawamori to leave an open end, citing as proof pictures of Kawamori looking closer to May'n than to Nakajima FV
  14. I've got a new idea: the Vajra sang Aimo to the 117th research fleet. The reason behind this is simple, they wanted to see if anyone wanted to mate It appears cheesy but it isn't. They use this song with other Vajra swarms, it can also be a mean to recognize each other as Vajra. FV
  15. I was just kidding with Gubaba, there are insistent shippers here Btw, I did believe Sheryl was the grand-daughter of Mao since ep. 24. Never questioned it FV
  16. Now you are saved, but it will come a time when not even screenshots will be enough FV
  17. As shown in this image, they are the bump on the external side of the arms. FV
  18. That would still be lame, and would not be appreciated by the audience. The real solution is merging Ranka and Sheryl together in a single body. Alto would choose one girl but get both, nobody could complain about that FV
  19. This in an anime whose message is think with your belly, not your head FV
  20. All this while in ep. 23 even Sheryl fans were convinced of a Ranka end It's for things like that I liked when Ranka slapped Sheryl more than I should have Honestly, we know the movie will be the same thing all over again I like it better this way. If one of the girls were to be chosen instead of the other, it would diminish the status of the other one to a boy stealer. My head and belly are one in accepting Kawamori's justice and Macross FV
