  1. Any further progress? - just curious...
  2. Isn't Mospeada a little like the original Star Trek run then? "Star Trek's Nielsen ratings while on NBC were low, and the network canceled it after three seasons and 79 episodes. The show became a cult classic" Mospeada is a cult classic IMO...
  3. I've seen a few more IDs pop up for sale. Its the "oh, the new one with cool parts is coming out better get rid of my old one quick" sale...
  4. With the potential for reissue I doubt I would go for it at $450, let alone at that ridiculous price...
  5. "City Plaza underlay retro Mospeada" "Mospeada is trapped under the tie-up has been advertising and City Plaza"
  6. They INCREASED the price for these M&M valks! http://www.ebay.com/itm/250994092818?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_1642wt_754 If I said I was thinking about going for it you guys would stop me right? Dear Yamato - pleeeeease reissue....
  7. Agree on the removable arm! That would be cool...
  8. Why do I like the side covers in gray? They show up more. Not sure... And I've always felt like I wanted to see more green in the visor, like the anime. The Yamato ID while awesome seems to use a little too much gray around the faceplate...
  9. Has the blue guy box art been posted yet? Here it is. Probably same artist as the Macross Detroids - simply awesome...
  10. It will be the raising pilot seats, neck cover and side covers. Should also be gun straps IMO. With the Millia one you might get the baby pod... Of course they haven't even talked about the M&M, I'm just hoping at this point...
  11. Unless they actually DO re-release them, with extra parts and improvements. Then all of the sudden the perceived value drops by more than half overnight. Maybe that's why this set is being listed right now, before that announcement comes...
  12. Any further progress?
  13. Holy Trailer! Liked the whole thing accept the lady with no armor, or dirt on her, perfect lip gloss, armed with only a pistol in the middle of all those super heroes fighting intergalactic devil machines. Leave her in the control room...
  14. REALLY hoping Yamato re-releases the M&M Valks with new parts -- so I do not have to resort to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/250994092818?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_1642wt_754
  15. And it even has a bid! http://www.rinkya.com/new/en/auction-d126165156
  16. Here's photo evidence of an ancient SD Inbit Trooper as well...
  17. Somebody did do an SD Inbit Scout, just last year I think - but I cannot find a pic at the moment...
  18. This?
  19. This might make missing out on the M&M valks the first time around -- GOOD NEWS!
  20. Probably this threads last post, but let me TRY to simply state the reason for my interest in the Volks OHS. I love the Panzer World OVA mech designs. My first purchase was the Wave WHAM red main mecha a few years ago. Its by far my favorite collectable, a true masterpiece. They run about $500 now. So looking around eBay and Yahoo Japan I'd often see older resin kits from that OVA, the centaur guys and a few others. Most were either Max Factory vinyl kits or a line of 1/72 kits from Kotobukiya. I never took the plunge and picked one up. THEN - on evilbay I see a recast of the red centaur figure from a seller in Korea. I questioned the seller and something interesting came up. He said this is not the same as the Max Factory sculpt, its actually from a famous sculpter who also worked on the VOLKS Orient Hero Series and FFS very high end resin kits way back in the day. I bought it and was amazed to see that the scale was exactly the same as the Wave WHAM figure. The hands were virtually identical. Its BEAUTIFUL, I mean the detail is stunning. Its certainly not a cheaper vinyl kit. SO - I thought huh, maybe Wave was inspired by this sculpter and that's what they based their 'non-scale' Galient line on, which includes some simply spectacular mecha designs. Some are picture here, the Snake God guy, silver Wingal flyer type guy and commander blue centaur. Eventually I found this pic online with the Wave Galient, box pictured in the back right next to the red centaur - it must be this kit I just bought! Right? Same scale? Then recently I saw this - the standard centaur and I believe it even has the signature on the front on the box from that famous sculpter and I circled it here. That got me thinking what other designs might that sculpter have done from Panzer World, which brings us to where this thread is today... (phew, not sure anyone cares...)
  21. Sa---weeettt. I think this GOSU looks perfect. I vow to get my grubby little mits on one of those (or 3), if its the last thing I do! The red scout guys guns are wayyy too big though, wonder if he's compensating for something... -------- EDIT - well wait, I guess to be perfect the GOSU would have to have a semi-clear cockpit with pilot, and it does not look like they managed that... It almost looks like it has REVY joints in the shoulders, elbows and knees (!)
  22. I would certainly think this means a re-release of the M&M valks too right? Since those are even more scarce? That would be good. Never manage to find those. They should include gun-straps as well though in these re-issues.. And I think the side covers should all be gray like the GBP...
  23. CMs should have just done Ariel. I mean, you need her for the good ol' Mospeada camp fire diorama. The Yellow in a dress fig sort of creeps me out and I have no desire to pick that one up (pun?)...
  24. Still disagree. Why is WAVE about to release a Legioss? Because their is no market for Mospeada? I realize Macross carries more weight than Mospeada. But head to head I feel a GOSU would outsell a Regult. Not a Glaug maybe but Regult. And after the news of the slow boat from Toynami late with some Regult variation no one wants, and seeing what they SHOULD HAVE DONE about to be released at Wonderfest for $500 I'm sure. It just cheeses me off some. Think a $45 GOSU vinyl toy would have done quite well for them, with 2 other variations to milk later on - that's just my opinion...
