    JENIUS - Read the whole review again -you deserve much props for the work you do. Amazing. I think it bares noting again that Toynami somehow FORGOT to make their book-style binding art into one picture - ie having Scott's left elbow go over onto Rand's art, so that when you stack them all together it makes one image. Its obvious Rand is looking over at Scott - I just don't see how this is missed in production! Didn't matter that much in the end since we never got to see the Rook and Lancer versions where the mosaic image would have really stuck out. Baffling... Its even on the Rand card included! See attached pic!! Scott's arm covers up what I feel like is an awkward arm pose of Rand reaching for his gun too, which make me wish they hadn't missed this even more... The other thing that bugs me is Scott's face on the binding, it looks like a rabbit or hamster face. I have not heard that complaint from anyone else though. Speaking of faces - I feel like the Toynami head sculpts are FAR better the the Japanese releases. Ray looks like a Who from Whoville. Stick looks jaundice. The matt high end plastics Beagle used still cause me to grin everytime I look at the product. They NAILED the aqua and green colors so spot on. Love the little details like a Galant power switch seen so often in the show - awesome. Wish they would have made the boot middle lights and chest lights out of the same translucent plastic they did on ray's beam cannon. Still have hope that Yamato will pick up the work done on Fuke and start there - moving onto Yellow if that is successful for them. I bet they have the mold work and packaging already. Yeah, yeah - I know... that's like holding out that Ridley Scott will make another Alien movie - or we'll see a Blade Runner 2 - Oh wait...

    For anyone ever interested in the Yamato 1/12 and does not have the Strong Bacchus model - there are several pretty cheap auctions going on in Yahoo Japan. Using RinkYa - even with fees and shipping, I bet you could get one for $40 to $50 bucks...

    Nice Bacchus shot Alchemo! Love the photos on the black glossy surface... You don't happen to have any of those show exclusive 1/12 accessories do you? (like the tangling chains or tank treads) Or a line on where we can get them?

    So what you're saying is Beagle's capital is so low, that they simply could not afford to release Fuke second? They absolutely needed the cash from the Ray release to fund the next model and so on? It doesn't seem like that plan worked. But for a niche company I guess that's how it was. Toynami's Regults may be about to suffer the same fate. I wonder how the line would have done if they had enough wiggle room to do the Glaug second, then LIGHT missile, then SCOUT Type and THEN go back and do the heavy missile last -- EVEN if the tooling was easiest and all done for the Heavy Missile to be second in the release cycle. Just like the Ray with Beagle - he was done and tooled and ready to go, but hold off and keep fans interest by release something more obscure next, something not as similar to the first release? Then come back with the Ray and get the money you would have anyway if you had released him earlier...

    What about 2 packs then? Blue Legioss and Green Gasu Then Green Legioss and Pink Gasu Then Red Legioss and Gray Gasu ??? No new tooling except Legioss heads - and its something never seen before. Just an idea...

    Well there must be SOME Mospeada fans out there, enough for so many companies to continue to release products so many years later. I cannot speak for all of those fans though, only myself. And for ride-armors the RAY release seems to always come second. Fans know that. That release order seemed to fly when the price point was $50 or below. But when Beagle did the same order with a $200 / $250 toy I think even hardcore Mospeada fans said - "I'll wait for the Fuke - or Yellow, I only have so much jack right now" So if that is true, maybe Wave is playing it the most safe in going with the usual order here, blue legioss first, the green and so on, at a LOW price point. So even casual fans who like the series will just plunk down their pre-order. Guess I might be speaking from frustration in that we may only have a few more Mospeada releases left in the tank - and shucks if I wasn't selfish and wanted something unique and interesting for a change. I cannot prove some of my points without an official poll - but wouldn't most Macross fans like to see a Phalanx release on ANY kind now instead of another Tomahawk? If a poll was taken and that turned out to be true then that might hold for Mospeada as well...

    Mospeada toy lines have had a nasty habit of not finishing. Just wondering if it has anything to do with the order of release, or the creativity if giving the fans something never had before. Would the Beagle Fuke as the second release provided the kick to get all 4??

    Anything new from anybody? No DMZ purchases? Having looked them over some more the feet is not the bother, its those micro-men guys. Its 2011, I cannot believe they could not do better figs for such an awesome toy. Those figs could be overlooked if the price to get them wasn't so steep. No news on marshy Dog concept from Yamato? or was that a fan mock-up? Anyone have a loose Yamato Cuvie with no box or extra parts to sell for cheap?

    I'm a huge Mospeada fan and I won't be getting this, at least not until I see what is later down the line. Scale does not thrill me, and I have this same thing many times over in various forms. I guess the iconic hero mech always has to come first, and the sales numbers probably support this. If I had my own company I would do the Tread in Diver mode with all those bomb racks as we've seen so many times before. Everyone would KNOW what was next - a Legioss Soldier, and they would buy it up. There has never even been a kit of the Tread in Diver mode, let alone with all those coveted extras. We are aging fans! Give us something new! HECK WAVE - Come out with the Phalanx in 1/72 FIRST - sheesh (and show exclusive 1/60th version?) We have Tomahawks! In every scale! I hear all the pros and cons about the design of this Legioss and agree with most on this thread - but in the end I'm not buying...

    'captain america' -- looks stumpy, squat, deformed and un-heroic UN-HEROIC! I knew it. I just couldn't find those words. Was saying 'cluttered', but I see what you mean now. The panel lines could be light gray on the white areas, and dark blue on the blue areas, that would help too. Still not sure why they chose this scale, a tread soldier at 1/48th 1/55th is still not that large. DEAR WAVE - Never mind us though - thank you for coming out with anything Mospeada. Please give us something we've never had like InBits next, oh and in 1/48th would be great, no matter how well or poorly this sells...

    Bummer - sorry about the Brutish bid. Yesterday I looked over the DMZ's again and they are awesome looking. And the smaller size and sturdier build are quite appealing. Especially after I tried to switch guns on my Yamato Strong Bacchus -- it took 10 minutes of fiddling. Thumb wouldn't stay on, then whole arm fell off, then hand came off, THEN fist punch charge fell out and extended arm, then thumb came off again - seriously? Sheesh. Yamato 1/12 = pose once and leave on shelf. Not to mention the DMZ's weathered paint job, I'm a sucker for more realistic wartime look. From the reviews that looks like the biggest PLUS for the line. You guys on the DMZ hunt keep us posted...

    MINT is such a DISTRACTION! This is a neat, but very FIDDLEY set. Takes some time just to get all the pieces to stay on long enough to take a photo. CMS - nice job on the tampo printing. Not such a nice on so many things, I do not have time to list them here. Would never have gotten these, then they smartly came out with the figure set. Ray, Fuke and Mint are quite good, Yellow so-so, while Stick looks sickly. These are getting cheaper all the time online for those you have never jumped in...

    We'll likely never know - but I would love to see what the sales numbers would be if WAVE just went with an Mospeada enemy line right in the 1/48th range. Something we've never had or seen before, to go with something most of us already have. Straight out of the gate with no heroes. Purple Trooper first, Pack of 2 or 3 Scouts, then Gurab or Blue Guy. Show or web exclusives could be the smaller soldier in 3, or other variations. The they could mix in the heroes in Soldier mode - but in 1/48th. I realize its written somewhere that enemies don't sell, but I have 1/72 kits of the blue Legioss, 1/55 and 1/48th and 1/32 toys and resin kits. Its always Skull 1 and the Blue Legioss - followed by the 1J and the Green Legioss - ON AND ON and ON... Maybe if this does really we'll see all those Inbits in 1/72, but that scale does not do that much for me...

    Thanks for posting the pics! Is it that the panel-lining is too thick? Does that make the machine look ultra-small? Nice kit and sculpt, but something about it makes it look cluttered or cramped to me...

    No Yamato Strike Dog. Wanted a 1/12 Bloodsucker from the Last Red Shoulder OVA - that should come with an Ypsilon as well! Somebody posted a pic of a Marshy Dog concept which might mean Yamato continuing the line, but I doubt they will. Can anyone confirm any Votoms action from Yamato? They seem to be ending lines more quickly all the time if they do not hit their financial mark. Thought the Patlabor stuff looked like it was selling well, with a re-release of the first Ingram, but that looks done now too...

    Nice - but not moved into a "Gotta Have It" state. Looks a little too crammed with detail - and those bumps on the feet / engines all the way around? Still - nice to see anything new from Mospeada. There will be a Tread if this flies off the shelves...
