With @LUNA PARK Premium you are supposed to get faster shipping but for a higher price, only thing that seems to work though, is the higher price! The faster shipping didn't work with my VF-1S mech Guts edition, so I can't recommend it! If you have to pay for better service I would say look elsewhere! 😉

Don't understand what LP has to do with the arms!?
-
Did you order regular or Premium @LUNA PARK ? Still waiting for shipping confirmation on mine.....
-
-
Yes, Thanks! but doses Misa know how to fly? 😉
-
I'll give you five bucks for it! 😉
-
Dear @tekering, I have one final request! Will the regress seats from the VF-1D also fit the VT-1? and could you please take a picture if it fits? Thanks!
-
No it's a red circle with a white line in the middle!
-
I think most people here would avoid that bunch like the plague.... But good luck with that! 🙈
-
Good luck! I tried @LUNA PARK Premium when I ordered the VF-1S Mechanic Edition, Still took them over 2 weeks to ship!
-
I sure haven't! And don't think @LUNA PARK will ship anything till next week... Although they might surprise us.... Maybe? 🤔
-
Ja, Bandai just doesn't want to go all the way...🤣. Thanks 👍🏻
-
Sorry, Meant the top boosters. not the leg boosters...🤔
-
Oh! WTF? they could have gone all out and at least painted them then! I see a mech guts version in our future, but why not right away!? 🤪. THANKS!!! This makes me want to cry! 😢😭 Bandai could have really done the ultimate edition added another 1000 yen and really made a complete version... Someone at the Bandai is probably laughing at us for not going all the way!? What a way to ruin my weekend! Thanks Bandai.... (Showing the Bird!) 💩 @tekering there seems to be a big seem in the boosters, are the covers removable?
-
Again thanks! you made my weekend!😁 The comparison shot of the three birds together is great! It really shows that they took the time to match the bird to the movie. any chance of a picture of the trays? Great for the fast work! 👍🏻

If we compare it to the Yam/Arcadia the orange was only slightly darker, but the beige was the same colour, so its kind of nice that the changed everything with this. Seems the orange is moore fitting with the movie! @tekering some shoots of the bird with fast packs would be great! but only when you have time! Thanks for the picks so far.... Back of the box too please....🤗
-
Wow! Excellent! Thanks for those, So the went back to the original box art stile with this one... The darker orange fits well with the bird, wasn't expecting them to change the tan colour though, But pleased with the bird!
-
Box art please! And could you please do some comparison picks to the VF-1D? Thanks!

Like it! It's nice that it comes with the banking display stand adapter but wish they would finally sell the stand separately! Whats with the circle in the arm? only the VT-1 and VE-1 have these. The back pack also has the extra booster. the head looks great, was very disappointed with the head on the 1/55 wich was just black. So lets hope for some unboxing's by the weekend Back to drooling over the manual...🤗

As a consumer this might be, but as a manufacturer you have a completely different approach to a product! I'm in product development myself, and really never care much about what other companies have developed or might come out with. We also have the Ferrari license to produce in 1/8 scale which other companies will not touch... We are the industry standard in that scale, and don't look much at other manufactures that came previously! As for the differences in 1/48 from Yamato to Bandai, the quality is quite different although from the outside they might look the same! Sure Bandai has disappointed us in more ways then one with the series but it is still the best out there in my opinion at that scale.

The release pattern from Bandai doesn't make much sense, But I'm still glad they are sticking with the series. I recently picked up Figure King 279 which had a nice spread on the DX series with 4 pages of what could come next, Funny that actually the next Valkyrie that was released wasn't even mentioned in the article!? I'm sure with the cost off tooling and development for the series they would monetize it for their full potential. I'm also glad the are not just sticking to the basics like VF-1A,S,J but have done the necessary tooling to do the VF-1D & VT-1, with good certainty of also releasing the VE-1. They also mentioned that the DX series is the direct successor to 1/55 series in issue of Figure King 246. I guess we just have to be patient and hope the release the missing one soon...😉

I suspect we will get announcement of the VE-1 before the end of the month with release end of the year! Since it's 40th Anna of D.Y.R.L.

Does anyone know which issue of Figure King (フィギュア王) Covered Bandai DX Chogokin VF-1D? Please provide cover! Thanks! Also anyone pick up フィギュア王 (318) ? Might show the Bandai new VT-1?

First it looks like they have the same peg mechanism as the Angel Bird. The small ailerons wouldn't bother me but I would display it with fast packs anyway. And I posted a comparison of the two back on page 3. The only thing that bothers me are the tabs that fold out for the ailerons that hold them in place when the backpack is flipped over...
