  1. According to P-Bandai release date of 📆7月ç™ș送äșˆćźš!? (17th. July), we only have a month to wait till we finally get first pictures! Funny that the VF-1D also had the same release date in 2021. Hopefully we will get an unboxing soon, as well as some magazine articles before the end of this month! Can't wait for this bird and hope Bandai doesn't let us down... then we should get an announcement on the DXè¶…ćˆé‡‘ VE-1 スăƒȘăƒłăƒˆă‚·ăƒŒă‚«ăƒŒ by the end of July with a release in December. đŸ€—
  2. I don't think that changing things on the Chunkies would be useful! The appeal is the simple, and easy transformation and nostalgic build! This is what most people started with... So changing the overall basics is not going to sell, We already have better build Valk's, so the only need to release VF-1's that where teased from Takatoku back in the days! like the VF-1D... But like @sh9000 say's, we will probably see Bandai DX Chogokin Destroyds before we see another release of any 1:55 😱 Still can't beat a firing GU-11 Gunpod though! 😂
  3. I don't even think that Bandai know's how large the VF-1 series is going to be. Although the should! If they ever release the VF-1A standard mass-production machines in DX format the missile situation is going to get even worse if they aren't included with that unit!
  4. So going back on some research, there was actually three releases of the missile set VF-1, First was May 2019, 2nd June 2020, and then there was a third that was a lottery from January 21-27 2022 released in February 2022, so it is possible that this could come up again!?...
  5. So the last two (Mech Guts) edition from Mandrake went at 46,000 and 48,000 yen respectively! That with the current yen price is actually not bad!?
  6. Sorry only ever watched S.D.F. Macross, is Macross Plus the second part of the series and was there a box relies for S.D.F. Macross?
  7. Thanks for the link! Kinda scary that we get informed about PO‘s, with one day heads up!? This going to be the norm for now? Almost makes it that you can never go on vacation

  8. So from this picture I would surmise it’s 1/72 scale?
  9. Well you could review the DX Chogokin VF-1D if you want something to do!? Or the GBP?
  10. It doesn’t look all that bad! The panel lining is something to get used too
Everything seems to stay in place when transformed but more videos are needed! I really hope that @jenius gets his, for review soon and shows us the differences.
  11. Thanks! There are some magazines out there which do show mounting guides, but not sure how "canon" they are... For 2 Hard Points (Per Wing), Google Translates.... Like conventional fighters, the VF-1 mounts its weapons under the wings even outside the atmosphere where there is no aerodynamic effect. This is because the upper surface of the wings is assumed to function as armor on the back when in Battroid mode. Another reason is that the same part has spoilers that are used as movable surfaces in the atmosphere. Hard points are located on blocks 1 to 8, two on each side, and the first interstellar warfare. For 3 Hard Points (Per Wing).... From Block 9 onwards, which were built after the war, there were three hardpoints each. A certain number of aircraft with five hardpoints were also produced. However, even with the addition of more hardpoints, the size of the weapons themselves meant that the standard equipment around 2010 could not accommodate many, so there was no actual change in payload. This addition was made to allow for more room for the load in case new weapons were developed later, and the rigidity of the main wing was also improved. And I was also answering @Radioguy question on the paints in that post! 😉 And I, honestly mount mine until they look good! đŸ€Ș
  12. It was posted as a paint guide for @Radioguy, not for scale nor mounting points...😉
  13. Something tells me, this year is going to be really expensive!...đŸ˜±
  14. Since the VF-1D also has moulded as well as painted over areas, like the chest and leading edge wings and these don't seem to suffer from any huge colour differences. I'm kind of hopeful that Bandai will have solved this issue!? but sadly we still have a couple of months to wait for the bird, before we fry Bandai for the mistakes...😂
  15. My Armoured Strike Valkerie came today from Mykombi and Mandrake respectively...with 2 more TV Super Parts I wander if Bandai will ever release a Valk. where everything is included in one box? đŸ€—
  16. Thanks @jenius, for pointing out that the scale is not 1:60, not sure why I was under the impression that the High-Metal R line was 1:60!? But it's also probably why I don't have any... But did find this official information on scale. So thanks for pointing that out! As for the colour inconstancies on the HM-R ostrich I found this posted from @Vi-RS, back in 2018! So not sure how widely spread this was...
  17. I read that when they released the 1:60 High Metal R version some people had colour differences between the fast packs and leg and arm parts!? I hope this gets solved in the DX Version! đŸ€”
  18. Large closeup pictures of the VF-1 Weapons system from Hasagawa! AMM-1 RMS-1 UUM-7
  19. And like I said previously. that in space your flaps aren't going to be used and they also wouldn't work! Since you have manoeuvering thrusters on your Strike/Fast packs so Bandai was correct in spacing the RMS-1 and UUM-7 close to the wings! 😉 Remember that this is a "Space" weapon system unlike the AMM-1 which are used in atmospheric engagements!
  20. I'm sure if you get the Hasagawa set it will include a colour guide! but if not just search for the individual missile names, there are a lot of samples out there where you can judge the colour from! Just remember that SDFM RMS-1 Missiles should have red tips
  21. Great! đŸ‘đŸ» Would be great if you have some of the closeup pictures of the pylons posted here! Some people don't use FB anymore since they only are interested in spamming you anyway!
  22. Thanks for the review! I'm getting mine on Friday with tons of other Macross books, So looking forward to some summer reading! đŸ€—
