  1. hacchaka.net has a picture review of the H-Metal R FATTY, if you're still waiting for you're delivery....🤗 Looks like they don't have any problem with the FATTY in (Standby Mode) either 🤣 A colourful set of characters! 😉
  2. Probably more of a question of when then if, since Hitoshi Yanagisawa the project lead, has stated in several interviews that the want to cover mechs from a wide range of media from OVA's and Manga's. I like to see how they would tackle Scopedog that have "prosthetic" arm replacement, if you can call it that!? but basically mechs that have a slight difference to the norm. But having a squad of a series does look cool on the shelf, It's just bloody expensive... 😱 Especially in the Hi-Metal R range.
  3. FATTY link on Mandarake incase anyone is interested.... The first one sold!
  4. Well just got confirmation that one of my FATTY's is inbound! 🤗

    1/55's revisited

LOL! From the catalog page of the jetfire.... was an interesting way of installing the super parts! 🤣
  6. Actually found the prices in Osaka more reasonable then Akihabara, It's a major tourist center and the charge through the nose there! When I was there two and a half years ago I I went to Osaka first then Tokyo, I found almost everything there, and it was 20% cheaper then Akihabara or Tokyo in general!

@jenius Has graced us with a new review!
  8. A nice comparison shot of the whole Hi-Metal R gang up until now from 223 nam on (X) Twitter.... Really hope mine gets to me soon...
  9. Thanks! I was able to get the RSC with -40% So looking forward to seeing how good it is!? This site actually has a good in-depth feature on the 1/24 Wave series.
  10. Congrats on being able to get one at a somewhat reasonable price! Saving on shipping is a large sum! And it's a keepsake, to your visit to Japan.... So when you play with it you can always thinks about you're experience trying to hunt one down! 👍🏻
  11. Does anyone know if, Wave will continue with there new 1/24 Scopedog line? Don't remember seeing any new announcements!? Even though they are a little on the expensive side.
  12. So last day of the year! In the Armoured Trooper V.O.T.O.M. series it's been a busy year, with lots of nice release, in both models as well as action figure releases! Surprising for a series that's over 40 years old! Next year will be pretty expensive as well with already 3 releases shown to be releasing in the Hi-Metal R line, and I'm sure TakaraTomy will also be bringing 3 or more V.O.T.O.M. in the TSpark line in 1/48! As for Bandai in the Hi-Metal R line, my prediction; after the ATH-Q64 Berserga is released is.... 1) X-ATH-02 Strike Dog 2) ATM-09-WR Marthydog 3) ATM-09-ST Turbo Custom from the Berkoff Squad with accessories as an ad on pack! 4) ATH-06-WP Diving-beetle So with that I wish everyone here, A HAPPY & EXPENSIVE, New Year! 🥳😱🍾🎉..... and have fun collecting. 😉
  13. Congrats @Graham! Sadly mine won't arrive till mid. January, but from the images posted so far online the mech looks phenomenal! The Bloodsucker is also superb.... The line is a real treat if you like the V.O.T.O.M. series! Hope they continue expanding it for years to come! 🤗
  14. New link to the product design video on YouTube, this way speech can be translated to English by AI, wich isn't bad.... The video has lots of interesting comments so if you're a fan of the Hi-Metal R series its a must watch!
  15. Another review of the FATTY....
  16. That the Landing mode (Standby Mode) on the FATTY is different, was clear! That people can't transform the models properly was the only thing I was trying to convey in my previous post! In a previous post that I posted it was made clear that the two leg panels have to be pushed down after the legs are fully extended to be able to engage (Standby Mode) In the TV anime "Armored Trooper Votoms," the Fatty serves as the Balarant Army's main AT. In addition to the main body, the HI-METAL R kit includes optional parts like the G-BATM 04 Catapult Launcher and G-BATM-02 Hardblade Gun, and Cutter Claw working the wiring of Battleship X, as well as a Balarant soldier pilot figure. This set allows you to recreate every scene from the series. The Fatty is said to have been developed after studying captured Scopedogs, but its landing system differs from that of the Gilgamesh Army's ATs in that its legs extend forward. In HI-METAL R, the unique accretion pose can be recreated using the built-in mechanism. Let's take a closer look at the transformation process. First, have the figure sit with the joint axis at the base of the legs swung forward. At this time, stretch both legs out in front of you. Even in this position, it can still sit stably. Deploy the landing joint parts from the exterior of the thighs and lower legs. By moving the panel-like thigh parts inside, you can create space for the landing joint parts to move. By raising the landing joint parts into the space created by the panel parts and bending the lower legs, Fatty's distinctive landing pose is achieved. And it is clear in this picture from the (X) Twitter post, that the panels weren't pushed in! and here as well! the panels are in the closed position and not pushed down..... And if done correctly.... no prob'amo! 😉
  17. The panels that have to be pushed in to transform in to Landing Mode (Standby Mode) can only be done when the legs are fully extended! I'm sure Bandai tested this thoroughly before release.... Mine won't come till mid January so until then can't say anything further, But since I saw lots of pictures, off even the Scopedog not being transformed properly into standby mode, I say they are probably missing something!? Correct! Incorrect... Incorrect!... Incorrect... Mine correct! and the hands are not touching the ground! The ATM-09-ST deos Standby Mode perfectly, but you need some time to do it properly since the joints are very stiff! I'm sure something wasn't extended properly to be able to push down the panels that's needed to be able to transform the fatty into (Standby Mode)!
  18. Designer Interview on the two new Scopedogs that are coming 2026
  19. Thanks fixed the link! 😉
  20. First video review of the FATTY!
  21. Yes it really does! Great you might get it by next xmas...🤪 Happy holidays! Maybe by next xmas you finally start reviewing the series....🤗
  22. So it looks like the visor display panel is actually detailed on this unit! 👍🏻 Can't wait to get mine! 🤗
  23. Translated the banners to the two info posts above and added new high-res images. 🤗
  24. Also a quick note! Although the instruction Manual for the X-ATH-P-RSC Bloodsucker doesn't mention it, The unit also has an A-hole to be able to be mounted on a stand...
