Well just ordered my second unit from Mandarake for 15,000 yen, at least they ship quickly!

Nice! Liked that they released the complete (RSC) first and then later a regular Scopedog unlike Yamato, which released a Scopedog first then a month later the (RSC) which only had a red shoulder as a difference, then a month after that the (RSC) with Chirico, and later all the (RSC) armourments again as separate release! At least we got the full experience right away and can chose if we want the this Scopedog or not! but not really missing out if you decide to skip it! From @jenius at annymoon.com

Hobby Japan Web has a nice article on how to weather a Scopedog model using new weathering pencils, from company AK... Probably a good technique that can be used on the H-Metal R series! 😉

Another Video review of the new Scopedog! Translation from the inside of the box! So just found out something of interest! The production manager for the Hi-Metal R series seems to be the same person that was also in charge of the Yamato 1/12 V.O.T.O.M.S. line! On the Bandai page he is named as Hitoshi Yanagisawa, While Tim Eldred has an interview with the Yamato production designer Toshihisa Yanagisawa which I'm sure just the first name is not translated properly but I'm certain its the same person pictured here sitting on the right! And runs the production company ARMIC Co. I'm sure he was given more development leeway to develop a Hi'R quality product with Bandai! Think it's an interesting find! 😉

True, but there is one problem with small boxes!.... Yep, me too! It's good enough to add to the collection, but looking forward to see what they announce next, which might be end of next week! 🫢 Cleaner box art! 😉

True! But maybe that it's not handled internally from Bandai is what sets the V.O.T.O.M.S. series apart from what's being done in-house? Maybe if they find a company or a person who is a "Fan" of the series it might get better management of the series!?

The colour matching from Takara in the Tspark line is pretty bismal! Especially on the transporter! 😱

Probably 2027/28 It's nice that Takara is making the unit, the problem I have with them is that they are half model half build toys and the none printing is not acceptable at this day in age! Although they have released a unit in the ARC series that did have complete printing! For me also the Hi-Metal R line is enough to satisfy my needs! and I don't mind waiting as long as they do that, what they have been doing so far and give it their best effort!

Never much liked the L-class: X•ATL-01-DT ZWERG (Dwarf) and the Tspark version doesn't improve my view! Would like to see how Bandai handles it!

I think everyone is just being way too negative in their expectations lately! You have to think like @Shawn and it will happen! I'm positive the VE-1 Elintseeker is going to happen this year, I'm positive so it will happen! 🤗................😉

What's also strange about this display is that none of the units show missiles! So until someone actually grabs one we will have to see what's up? But that light colour strap is awful, hopefully its only the display units?
